That is an odd issue. That tool updates automatically, so no idea why it would be wrong. Odd the monthly and yearly are correct, but the weekly total is wrong. |
It's probably a boundary value bug. (inclusive start or end date, or the boundary dates not properly set in the weekly tool) Fight-the-Streets said:
I think the Switch 2 will release in the far future and it will effectively be the Switch 3 as the real Switch 2 will be labeled differently, Nintendo will declare it as the same generation as the current Switch models (and ad the sell numbers to the current Switch sell numbers in their reports) even though it is massively more powerful. It will play all existing Switch games but will have exclusives. They will advertise it heavily: "If you want it all - press the upgrade button!". After around 7 years of Switch existence, people will have no problem to accept that there's an upgraded Switch with exclusives. |
I also believe this to be the future, and also Switch 3 will follow the same new no-gen smooth progression paradigm for Nintendo. |
I just hope we track it separately, with all those exclusive games taking advantage of the power boost. We track GB and GBC together even though GBC had hundreds of games that GB couldn't play due to power.
And no, I don't think Dsi should have been separated from DS sales because it's exclusives we're pretty much all shovel ware that, in regards to power, could have been on the original DS.
Super Switch should be tracked separate from Switch 1 regardless of what Nintendo says. Just like Switch 3 in 2029.
