Ummm hey?

So my Switch's USB-C port apparently doesn't work anymore. But it's at full battery right now, so I guess I could play. Not like it matters when I waste the battery, I need to get it fixed.

I hate this console sometimes. Pretty much everyone I know has had serious issues like this with it - though no one has the exact same issue, which is why they never get talked about. Only recurring one is drift. Earlier this year a friend of mine needed to replace his whole console because his Switch's motherboard broke entirely when we, uhh... copied a save from one console to another. You know, that built-in thing you can do on the system settings. Anyways. Nice product Nintendo.

Edit: alternatively, we could play Smash 4. Now that I'd be into

Gonna go to sleep now actually, but if you want to have some matches tomorrow we could. If you want we could play smash 4, but only if I can use custom moves, since that's the only real purpose to playing it over ultimate imo. Also, I don't think the Swtich ethernet adapter works for Wii U, so may not be the best connection.

Asking for custom moves is a good way to dodge the Smash 4 bullet.

My Switch now decided it works again, so maybe we could play someday. Don't think I can plug the ethernet cable in, though, I'm kinda living in a different place for a while and the wiring here is... hmm, let's just say it isn't. We got good internet but wifi only for now.

edit: That, and I mean. It's Brazil. The distance by itself already means it won't be the best connection, no matter what.

I just honestly like the custom moves thing. Wish they would have included it in Smash Ultimate. If you want to play let me know what time today or tomorrow you want to.

First reply is all I was expecting. Thank you for delivering, dude.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I think in the end I'd rather not. Switch is acting up again and umm. I think I just don't want to play Smash online.

Up to you.

Up to you.

As fate would have it, I am now playing Smash Ultimate online. So if you want to, now is the time

Not right now, but in about half an hour or so I can.

I have to end this.

Not sure what that means. Made a room called VGC. Join if you want. If not, that's cool too.

I am so sad I didn't get the spike hitbox of my Down B ;_;

Good games.

Good games. Smash online is rough but I had fun, I think.

I don't play offline very much, so it feels normal to me. I grew up in the dark ages where you could only play with people near you, and none of my friends wanted to play me cause I was way better. So I appreciate any online.

Yeah, it's the opposite for me as I'm (temporarily) living with someone I can play Smash with at pretty much any time. We don't do it much, but still, it's what I've gotten used to. I barely touched online play since quitting online tourneys over a year ago.

I can see why your friends wouldn't want to play with you though, you're pretty good. Smash is kind of an intimidating game to learn, especially with people who can play it good. I know I certainly can't teach it.

I'm in that awkward zone where I'm way too good to play casuals, but nowhere near good enough to go to tournaments, even if I was so inclined. So, online is the best option I've got. Used to play with my little brother, but unfortunately his hands are a bit messed up (possibly from too much melee).
