Yeah, it's the opposite for me as I'm (temporarily) living with someone I can play Smash with at pretty much any time. We don't do it much, but still, it's what I've gotten used to. I barely touched online play since quitting online tourneys over a year ago.

I can see why your friends wouldn't want to play with you though, you're pretty good. Smash is kind of an intimidating game to learn, especially with people who can play it good. I know I certainly can't teach it.

I'm in that awkward zone where I'm way too good to play casuals, but nowhere near good enough to go to tournaments, even if I was so inclined. So, online is the best option I've got. Used to play with my little brother, but unfortunately his hands are a bit messed up (possibly from too much melee).
