More hints from me:

15. a) This game was made in response to parents complaining to the developer that RPGs are games where people murder and steal.
b)  While I played this game on the NES many PC gamers consider this the best RPG of the 80s.
c)  The lead developer of this game had the nickname "British", so he decided to put an NPC in every game in this series that would represent him.
d)  This game inspired a popular gaming term.  The term means, "this is the character in the game that represents me".

13. a) This SRPG series was released after Fire Emblem in Japan, but before Fire Emblem in the US.  Second game.
b)  In this game your party can consist of centaurs, werewolves, hawkmen and a variety of other creatures.
c)  I'm looking for the second game, but both of the first two games are on the Genesis.

11.  a) This RPG is the last one that the series creator worked on from beginning to end.
b)  This PS1 game pays tribute in subtle ways to all previous entries in the series.

15 - Ultima IV

EDIT: 13 - Shining Force II

11 - FF9

All 3 are correct!

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS3)

YoY: -6

The peak of the Metal Gear series, and Hideo Kojima's finest work to date. Not bogged down by the often convoluted backstory that hangs around the rest of the series, Snake Eater could just largely tell its own, self-contained story of betrayal, espionage and loss. Obviously, the story is used to set up pretty much the rest of the whole series, but because it didn't have to adhere to events of any previous titles in the timeline the game is free to keep things fairly simple and non-convoluted, for a Metal Gear Solid game at least.

It's fun to discover the origins of Big Boss, see how his relationship with his teacher, her apparent betrayal, and the eventual reveal of the truth shaped him. The gameplay that added various survival elements was a lot of fun, the characters in general are among the series' best, and the music is great. The graphics are naturally somewhat dated by today's standards, but the remasters have alleviated at least some of those issues. It's just a great game, and one of the few Kojima games where I can actually say that with almost no caveats.

You're not wrong, but looking it up here, there's actually more than a couple games that don't star Christ Pratt.

It isn't. If anything I think the Guardians game is actually set in the past, likely somewhere in the 2000's.

My #14 also does not feature Mario.

oh derp (was about to say 2077 sounds too early for that)

the game the lappy dog comes from not bayo 3

Guessed by TruckOSaurus

"Everybody stay alert!", "Caiman here, no problems.", "Too late. Game over, pal!", "Enemy shield analysed." and of course "Do a barrel roll!". 'Lylat Wars', named 'Star Fox 64' outside of Europe is a treasure trove of cheesy one-liners. When you hear one, you'll also hear the voices of Peppy, Slippy, Falco or Fox in your head saying it. And this is part of the strength of this game. I'm not not sure if it was meant to be so cheesy, but it makes the game unbelievably memorable. It obviously also helps, that this is easily the greatest rail-shooter ever made, and one of the greatest games overall.

The game technically is quite short, but all the levels are so much fun, and there's multiple paths to take when completing certain objectives within those levels, that it has endless replay value. Of all the games out there, I have seen the end credits of this game roll the most by far. So much in fact, that I can still hum the entire closing music on the spot without even thinking about it or skipping a beat. Everything about this game is imprinted in my memory forever, and I'm reminded of it more often than you would guess. Thank god that it's something good to think back on, my life would have s*cked right now if this game was bad. Imagine that.

Okay #13 was guessed, but #12 wasn't. Extra hint plus moving on to #11.

#13: This game features an item of which sound and use are the same as in another game from another series featuring the same item.

Hint 2: So is the graphic that accompanies it on use; a tornado flies across the screen. Guessed by TruckOSaurus - Super Mario Bros. 3

#12: When you fully complete a level and go the hall of fame, many of those there ridicule you because you're not really the hero you were given credit for.

Hint 2: Which is true, on the final battle, you took an arrow to the eye (I think) right as it began, dying then and there.

#11: Elvis syndrome.

Already day 14? Let's make these easy

22. - A man drifts onto an island and finds the place infested with demons.
That island is within Japan, and the guy is not Japanese

21- You play as a dragon, you need to collect dragon eggs that were stolen by a sorceress.

20- RTS PC game where you play in medieval times. Original civs include Teutons, Franks, Mongols, Britons, Vikings.

19- Japan is infested with demons part 2. Though it is technically a prequel to the first game.

18- It is the Three Kingdoms era once again. The story was significantly changed from the novel and proper history. Still it was quite refreshing with its strategy and various decisions to make while playing. Gameplay involves commanding units lead by your officers as well as hitting soldiers with your weapon while on a horse.

21 - Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Yes. Been 2 years since my last playthrough, thinking about another...
