Havent seen it. The animation on the trailer really put me off.

The pseudo 3D stuff that some studios have been putting out recently put me off at first, but its gotten a lot better. Things like Beastars and Dorohedoro look real nice in motion 99% of the time. I still prefer more traditional 2D animation, but it didn't bother me after the first minute or two in Dorohedoro.

The thing about beastars is that is not action oriented. So the janky motion dosent bother me cuz its not trying to wow me. But when you go to something like attack on titan that jump to 3dcg in the last season was so notiasble only during the fight scenes. Characters talking and having crisis and comedys are not a problem for 3dcg.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

I`ll be the odd man out here, I thought the anime very boring

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I feel like Mappa can pick and choose whatever anime they want to do, but right now they are more busy with Attack on Titan.

Probably one of the best animes in recent years IMHO.
The oddball story, characters and setting just work so well and seem so coherent in a way that shouldn't be possible.
My girlfriend was weirded out a bit by the first two episodes, but then she wanted to finish the series and enjoyed it the rest of the way through.

For me, Houseki no Kuni set the bar and illustrated the potential of CG 3D.  It's one of the few anime with tons of videos on youtube actually praising the decision to use computer-generated animation.

I watched that one recently. Too bad for no sequel yet.
