Slow down there partner. Steelers scored 3 points aginst KC, and a garbage time TD. Don't pretend like old Ben having an ok 2 or 3 games in the passing game negates how horrible the Steelers offense is. Coming into this week the Steelers don't have a first half TD the last six games. Shit, they haven't even had a 20+ point game since... I don't even remember.

Steelers are 30th in rushing, and ranked bottom 8 in total offense this year

Their defense is more likely to catch a cold than stop the run.

And the Browns defense are going to put Big Ben in a casket for his final game at Ketchup Field.

Steelers have been a slow start all season.  Even in blowouts, the offense starts coming along late in the game.  When the defense shows up, the offense has been able to finish games.  I.E. - outscoring the Ravens 17-9 in the 4th Qtr on 12/5 for a 20-19 win, outscoring the Titans 16-0 in the 2nd Half on 12/19 for a 19-13 win.  When the defense is getting torched all game is when those comebacks fall short.  I.E. - outscoring the Chargers 27-14 in the 4th Qtr to lose 41-37 on 11/21, and outscoring the Viking 21-7 in the 4th Qtr on 12/9 to lose 36-28.

Chiefs are on an 8 game winning streak, and held the 7-3 Cowboys to 9 points (3 FG's) when they faced them during this stretch.  So, it's just odd to point to that specific opponent as an excuse to call Pittsburgh an "embarrassment to the league".

You're awfully optimistic of the Browns prospects on the road when they only scored 10 points in a loss at home against Pittsburgh earlier this season, by the way.

I apologize

Well, at least I won my fantasy championship for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. Almost makes up for how bad I did in prediction league this year lol....almost....

Wow, the Browns got swept by the Steelers this season. The Browns are easily among the most disappointing teams this season, probably even taking the top spot.

Yep. Lots of experts picked this team to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. I'd say the only team that's even remotely close to them in terms of disappointment would be the Seahawks.

I was tempted to put them below the Bengals in my pre-season bracket, though I never imagined the Bengals actually taking the division. I figured if they had some bad losses early on, they had the kind of DNA where things would quickly implode. With the mentality/attitude they had established, they were either going to be a boom or bust team, and they busted hard.

I'm more disappointed by the Steelers. With the elite coaching; experience; high-end talent on defense and reasonably good talent on offense, they should be a serious contender, even with Big Ben just a shadow of himself. Unfortunately their o-line just hasn't been up to snuff.

It has been an underwhelming end of season, no crazy wins, no crazy picks working out.

Shaunodon probably can't even beat his % rate from last year, only barely, 69.5%. So close to 70%.

I hope next week is fire!

For the last week of the season, this is a pretty uneventful week.

The top seeds are pretty much decided as there's no way the Packers or Titans are losing to the Lions or Texans. The Steelers and Ravens are basically outing each other from the playoffs.

The two BIG games this week are the Chargers-Raiders and the 49ers-Rams. The first game will pretty much decide the who gets the last spot in the playoffs in the AFC. Meanwhile, the 49ers can determine their own destiny against the Rams, if they win, they're in. If they lose, then they have to pin their hopes on the Falcons beating the Saints, which I don't think is very likely. As a 49ers fan, I dare to get my hopes up. I just hope they don't let me down. But regardless of how the game goes, Kyle, for the love of God, START TREY! Garoppolo is done. It's time to move on. Let the Trey Era begin! Win or lose, it's time to make him the starter. Permanently.

So in Cleveland rumors are swirling and people in the local media, and who are in the know, are saying Baker played his last game as a Brown after that embarrassing Steelers game after what has been a very embarrassing season for him. Here are the rumors:

-When OBJ was booted from Cleveland in the early weeks of the season, many players actually sided with OBJ, and the locker room was split. Many, if not the majority, sided with OBJ and thought the coaching staff and Baker were the hindrance to the offense, not OBJ.

-Players have been dropping hints that they don't care for Baker all along. Kareem Hunt is allegedly avoiding the media since his father released a video criticizing Baker. A video similar to OBJ's dad but got less media attention. Jarvis Landry, who was a very very close friend to OBJ, never spoke to the media since because he blamed coaching decisions and Baker. Greedy Williams was liking tweets that were calling out Baker's piss poor play (I actually remember personally seeing these tweets). But the biggest one is Brown's super star, Myles Garret, openly siding with OBJ in multiple press conference during and after OBJ's release. Other defensive players, such as John Johnson III, have also openly admitted that they lost a superstar in OBJ in press conferences. Baker himself has mentioned "internal" issues as recently as 4 weeks ago and as far back as OBJ's release, but people dismissed Baker's comment as referring to just the OBJ issue. But many speculated the issues were his teammates just didn't trust him anymore since.

-Baker criticized the offensive coaches and head coach about being too conservative (implying that they won't let him throw the ball deep) in a press conference 3 or 4 weeks ago. Since then, he was let loose and set record high INT stats (I think the highest since being drafted) including the Greenbay 4 pick game. Some speculate that was deliberate by the coach and GM to expose him after he openly criticized them

- The bomb shell though, is that the Browns have already mutually ruled Baker out from this Sunday's game not even 24 hours after the Steeler's loss. The timing of this is too early, and Baker didn't get any further injuries from that Steeler's game. Furthermore, Baker said immediately after that Steelers game he will be talking to his agent about his future. The latest headline for Baker is he's finally having that shoulder injury surgery.

The Browns are done with him, and Baker is done with Browns. And I for one am happy.

I've stated several times how much I dislike Baker and I want him gone, but the team was so great around him that him being average could legitimately make this team compete with anyone in my opinion. Just look back at their last year's offense, and their opening game this year against KC. But when Baker dislocated and ripped his shoulder in week 2, that physical injury turn into a mental injury, then a peer pressure issue. Issues that he created because he refused to shut himself down and get the surgery. And his stubbornness absolutely lost him the locker room, which led to teammates turning on him due to his poor play, which got him to get even deeper in his own head.

Good riddance.

Weren't you part of the "Baker is great, OBJ is cancer" crowd?

If this stuff is accurate, what's there for a Browns fan to be happy about? You're once again going to be without a franchise QB, and your players are apparently resentful of the coaching staff, which isn't usually a tenable situation. I fail to see any cause to be particularly pleased.
