I've stated several times how much I dislike Baker and I want him gone, but the team was so great around him that him being average could legitimately make this team compete with anyone in my opinion. Just look back at their last year's offense, and their opening game this year against KC. But when Baker dislocated and ripped his shoulder in week 2, that physical injury turn into a mental injury, then a peer pressure issue. Issues that he created because he refused to shut himself down and get the surgery. And his stubbornness absolutely lost him the locker room, which led to teammates turning on him due to his poor play, which got him to get even deeper in his own head.
Good riddance.
