Good PS5 stock this week except for the Digital Edition of course.

Swtich has healthy software sales in Spain.

Sony needs to sort out PS4 stock issues. The same for Microsoft with Xbox Series X | S

I don't think Sony's having problems with PS4 stock...the decline in sales is mainly due to PS5 released.

What's amazed me is that despite being the top seller system, no PS5 game made it to the top 10.

Sony is definitely having problems with PS4 stock. They are out of PS4 stock on their own online store.

Sony even sells factory re-certified PS4 through the site. I've never seen a console manufacturer do that.

This site is for the US but the situation seems to be the same worldwide.

From what I see, the PS5 stock sells out near instantly once it arrives, hence the epileptic sales numbers. But if no PS5 software is moving alongside... why? How much of a problem can scalpers be? Is the BC eating away the sales? Is the PS5 not yet getting big sellers?

Also, it's nice to see indie sales do well on retail, even if they don't reach the top 10.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

the new week ps5 have bundle and sales go 14k, and you have the bundle game in first place.

Japan it´s not a metric for more westerns countries, there the numbers of sales of ps5 are high, but the physical market, new and used, doesn´t have the same trajectory: PS4 physical software goes down. In Japan, you have more appreciation for physical media.  So there, you can see it was scalpers. In Spain, otherwise, the digital shares are higher, than we assume the scalpers have minor force.

But even if we assumed that the retail sales are just 10% of the total sales of a game in Spain, that still wouldn't explain why there are no PS5 games on the top ten, since all other platforms have digital markets as well. It'd be weird to assume PS5 gamers are so digitally focused in comparison to PS4 gamers (Switch nonwithstanding, handhelds profit from phisical media more).

yeah, optimist digital output for a new console maybe 70-75%. Sony now begins bundle with some games to inflate the numbers.

Thanks for the numbers, polofresco.

Looks like Spain got another good shipment of PS5s, but at this rate this strategy won't be enough to beat the constant supply of Switch(es). By the way, anyone else finds it curious that the Xbox Series have sold the same 700 units in the last three weeks? (I know the numbers are rounded, but it's still unusual.

I wouldn't worry about the lack of PS5 games in the top ten yet. After all, the install base is still small and they've had a game or two other weeks. That said, if Fifa 22 doesn't chart, now that would be something to be worried about.
