we will never achieve immortality, death is apart of life, it balances everything out, jut think of a world with no death.

Well I would probably get bored in ~ 200 years :P So no , I wouldent want it to happen ...

I mean, it makes me wonder if anyone uder 40 right now will ever reach 100 or even 80. People are killing each other and everything.

Lots of people treat pets better than each other. It's just sad. That's where immortality could come in.

In my honest opinion, i hate death. I mean, 80 years, which is the average lifespan or something like that, isn't enough to discover everything in the world. There are countless things that we don't know about in the world.

Immortality could give us the time to cure cancer or discover life on other planets and other things. I want to learn more about the universe not die knowing nothing.

Even if it was only 1 million years. I want to squeeze every bit of info the Universe has to offer. Immortality can allow that.

I would not want to live forever. Most things in this world piss me off and sometime I wonder wtf I'm doing here. So I'll go whenever I go and I have no intention staying here forever.

That is why we have choices.
Choose something you think is really important then pursue it with all you have.
It's like playing games, you might not be able to play every single title out there but you still enjoy the good ones you do decide to play.To illustrate, just because you weren't able to play soldier of fortune, it doesn't make COD4 any less enjoyable.
Because immortality in this world is but a dream, no matter how much you want it, you should think wisely of what you should do with your limited time.

It would be a little better if my family was with me, but still not good enough to be living forever, What will we do without society? we'll be savages hunting for food.

I hate death too, but living forever is way too long, maybe if we could expand our average lifespan to 500 or 1000 years, we could so much, but for now we can't go further than 125 years

So what happens when where all immortal? The population would just climb and climb, until we reach the point where each country needs more and more space, and will fight to the death for it. The Everyone dies in huge wars.

Unless you expect everyone to stop having children.
