IMPORTANT CHANGE - Survey Link Here

Latest Results:

All Time Thread

I'm trying to make these threads cleaner and easier to read as well as get more accurate data by doing Survey Monkey (because unlike VGChartz, they allow for more than 10 options in voting). A reminder this has to do with software only and who made said software.

Please vote on which developer/owner of developer(s) had the best showings of games. These include any and all third party and second party developers. I will NOT be including exclusive games under the company whose device they released on as the point of all this is to see which developer/owner of developer(s) has had the best E3 each year, regardless of if they own the hardware or not. If a developer was independent during this E3 showing, or the company was partially owned by someone else but still made the game, then they receive the credit. If they were owned by another company 100%, or if they are a second party developer exclusively making games for one platform, then the company owing them or receiving all their games receives the credit for the game.

To clarify with a hypothetical example: As long as the studio is independent (such as Platinum), then their games will count towards their own presentation and not the hardware company. Rare is a weird situation, as I believe (based on what I’ve read), Nintendo only ever owned 49% of their stock, making them a second party studio, until Microsoft bought them. Because of this, they will remain separate during the years they were not 100% owned by anyone.

Below is a list of any games announced/shown I could find. If I’ve missed something, or I have put something in the wrong area or gave credit to the wrong company, it is UNINTENTIONAL. Please forgive me and I will make the changes as soon as possible after you kindly point it out to me. Thanks and have fun with the voting!

I'm gonna have to give this one to Nintendo, just a really strong lineup across the board. Sony and MS had solid showings but Nintendo's is easily the best imo.

Yeah I went with them too. I was about to go with Bioware because KOTOR is one of my favorite gaming memories, but the total lineup of what Nintendo brought to that show was too good to pass up.

I know the Survey Monkey link is new people but it does have the benefit of letting you vote for more than just a selection of 10 options, so please give it a try! It shouldn't require a login, just click the link and vote after looking at the games. Obviously, if a second step to vote is too much of a barrier I will go back to normal voting methods here (to get more votes), I just hope people aren't too lazy or confused to click a link and vote as I am excited to give more opportunities for other studios to win these contests.

Perhaps I did this too soon to the 2021 E3 lol. I'll bump again in like a week if it doesn't get more attention after that hype dies down.

When do you plan to post the results?

Is that real? Holy moly, that's what I call E3

Very good year even tho it was the first without SEGA making consoles (I know DC was still supported in Japan a few more years but in general DC was officially done)

Nintendo blew people away with Smash alone. Rest of that list is pretty stellar. They got this reaction before E3 became public event online.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!
