I only watched the Xbox and Nintendo press conference while skimming the PC gaming show.

I think overall, Xbox and Nintendo press conference were both good catering to different audiences. Xbox was mainly focused on western games where as Nintendo was mainly focused on Japanese games so it very much depends on your interest.

For me as I like more Japanese games, I liked Nintendo's one more, especially with BoTW2 and SMTV. But Xbox was a good showing as well with Forza Horizon 5 and a ton of Gamepass games.

The best part about this e3 though was that talking was kept to a minimum during the Xbox/Nintendo press events and they let the trailers/gameplay do the talking. The rest were pretty terrible from what I seen.

Uhm, 2 seconds?  I mean, your bias is showing pretty hard, here lol

Calling people biased because they don't fit your own bias tells more about you than the others actually.

Obviously Nintendo. Generated the most hype. Delivered on showing BotW2. Had some good surprises. MS comes in second. It was a good show but not mindblowing.

Nintendo.

- I’m not a big fan of Smash, but that Kazuya trailer was as funny as the The Outer Worlds 2 teaser, which I thought was hilarious.

- Metroid 5 !!!

- That Breath of the Sky teaser looked really good and gave confidence that the title will deliver and surpass BOTW.

- The overall pacing and format of their presentation was also pretty good compared to most others.

While that’s not a lot, the rest of this year’s E3 barely did anything for me and was a borefest on most account.

Well now i know you are being obtuse on purpose, gamepass gives the option to buy those games at a discount

Says the guy complaining because I have a negative opinion of gamepass.

I'll always dislike it, deal with it.

Honestly i don't mind you don't like gamepass, I mean I dont like many of things others like.
But seeing as your opinion was based on incomplete info ( bruh gamepass is just renting ) i wanted to give it a whirl or atleast inform you.

Games companies who have managed to turn advertising into a week long event which we cheer for the chance to be allowed watch.

Xbox

Nintendo had a good showing, but overall it felt like something was missing. The botw 2 trailer wasn’t as crazy as I thought it would be, and in comparison to the original game trailers, wasn’t that good. Pokémon wasn’t present, and most of the new games announcements were kinda bland. The SMTV trailer also sucked compared to the Japanese one, which lowered the presentation. Still a good show, but they could do better easily. Also kazuya for smash is a no

I'll give it to MS this time around, but I know this site mostly tends to roll with just Sony or Nintendo, as PC/MS will never win much here.

There is no need to add qualifications to your statement, It's not VGChartz fault that the sites 360 era Xbox support with its healthy numbers, backed up with strong engagement, fell away during the Xbox One era.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Qualifications?.

No, it's been like this since last gen as well, this gen will be no different and the same has been like this for PC for a very long time.
