Halo series .... and Mario Kart games . Both where highly overrated , and both have much higher quality competitors on different consoles ...

OH? I do not know a competitor to MK, other than lego racers I haven't seen an other cart game like it (or a racer for that matter)
This is just a list of well rated games I didn't like:
Half Life 2 - booooooorrrrrriiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggggggggg
Bioshock - I didn't find it that fun
Gears of War - It was fun, but not my type of game. Also a lack of weapons. the chainsaw was cool, and the explosive bow weapon, but there wasn't much variety.
Mass Effect - I stopped playing this game quicker than the XFL was cancelled! I couldn't get into the story.
Forza 2 - Wasn't even remotely as good as Gran Turismo.
Ratchet and Clank: TOD - I don't like Ratchet and Clank anymore.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma - It was fun but too much button mashing, no strategy or skill required.
Mario and Zelda games are over rated. There have been some good Mario and Zelda games but they do not deserve those 97% average review scores.
I assure you that at least 20% of people will say Halo 3 is overrated despite having never played it.
These threads just seem to be an opportunity for jealousy anyways. But I'll have to go with the Metroid series altogether. I've never tried the Prime games, but I didn't like the 2D Metroid style. Never my thing.
