You show your fanboyism in the words you choose to use. Such as "slightly" and "lags a long way behind". Anyways besides you choice of words to show favoritism you do bring up an interesting topic.

 I will rewrite it to be equally accurate, and you tell me if it shows bias.

Though now destroying the Xbox 360 in sales with over 37% more sales this year world wide, the PS3 is quickly gaining on the 360 in total sales? 

That is as accurate as what you posted, and yet shows PS3 bias. If you see ANY bias in what I wrote, you would have to admit what you wrote also included bias.

Of course I see bias in what you wrote, but there is no causal link between what you wrote and what I wrote simply because you say there is. The simple fact is that outselling a console that is 6.5 MILLION in front of you by 40k a week makes the week-to-week a slightly better performance contrasted with a BIG gap in sales.

At this rate, the PS3 will overtake the Xbox 360 in three years. That will likely be AFTER the next generation has begun.

Fail.

I expect a new PSP redesign, God of War III reveal, Killzone 2 playable demo by people who came to the convention, Team ICO game, Uncharted 2 reveal (they've said that they've already started work on this), Resistance 2 release date, Home release date and demo and beta (if not out), Killzone 2 release date (November or September).

Unrealistic: PS3 price drop, PS3 slim (for japanese sales).

My nightmare: Crazy Ken Kutaragi comes back and takes over Sony again.

 They just had one !

God of War 3 and Team Icos new game will be the new biggest games for the PS3 . Maybe another new IP is in the works . Uncharted will get a sequel + the PS3 is getting a major 3rd party exclusive game . Also Im hoping for some new game announcements for the PSP to :)

I would like a cheaper PSP, it could get me to buy one for Crisis Core and GoW.

 Yeh, they could announce that, though I can't see a release until 2009 at the earliest

Fail.

 

You fail to take into consideration some factors.

 -The PS3 has way more major exclusives than the 360 this year = More system seller titles.

-GTA IV will probably  have a better effect on PS3 hardware than 360.

-A price cut will have a greater effect on PS3 hardware sales than 360.

-Christmas will have a greater effect on PS3 hardware than the 360.

-Continued success and growth of blu-ray will help PS3 hardware sales/cost reduction.

 

I expect the PS3 to overtake the 360 round summer '09.
