Please explain.

The Japanese market gets scalped.

Other Asien markets get even less PS5s or don't have an official release yet and people there have enough money to snatch one from Japan (*cough*China*cough*)

This doesn't explain why people in the other markets aren't buying PS5 games to go their PS5 system.

PS4 - 3

It's unbelievable that Momotaro sold more within 3 months than BOTW in 4 years.

And the fact it is doing sooo much better than Super Mario Party is really crazy. More developers needs to realise there are a massive audience for these types of games on the Switch (because I dont think a similar success can be seen on a playstation console today)

Don't forget Shin Chan it seems to have some hype behind it, direct video has 1.3 mil views already

While the 8 minute gameplay video has 221K views https://youtu.be/vRzYndQWfLY

Also hype for Splatoon 3 is real, going to be interesting how this impacts Splatoon 2 sales this year, personally it's already my most anticipated game on the Switch and Breath of Wild 2 hasn't launched yet. Nothing splats Splatoon

And its funny reading comments on social media saying "who ask for this" on Splatoon 3. They dont know how popular the IP is. I wouldnt be surprised if we get another splatoon character for Smash.

splatoon 3 and shin chan is a bless

zelda SS is a curse, hehehehe

Besides my tantrum, the direct is ok( 5/10).

If I had a Japanese third I would go with full power on the Switch.  The consoles have the potential to surpass the DS LTD.

Splatoon 3 is gonna set Japan on fire; the second game is on track to sell over 4 million there in physical copies only, probably over 5 million including digital.

Nagoshi, rumors say, has 200 meals paid for by Sony in one year. Sega demoted him when this rumor was in circulation.

Wee seeing a new form of Nintendo videogame: First 4 years is Nintendo first party and then more 4 years take by 3rds.
