Nah, next gen versions are fine. Outside of that weird issue with hard frame drops to zero happening twice in my first hour, I haven't had any issues at all on Series X playing in performance mode. Haven't even noticed that wonky frame rate DF touched on.

It doesnt really LOOK next gen on next gen consoles but it plays very well.

Have you tried Quality mode? I found it to be the better mode, though I did use performance for the most part in the beginning.

It's 30fps :|

Haven't even tried it. I don't mind softer graphics to aim for 60fps. The game definitely doesn't take advantage of the XSX hardware in terms of graphics, but it still looks good.

It doesn't feel like 30 though with the way they've implemented the motion blur.

It's no replacement for 60fps mind you but it's still pretty good.

Play a small side mission through using it and see how it goes. It's a more consistent experience if you don't have a vrr capable display.

I don't think I have ever been as let down as when reading this list of cut content, before:

https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kcve8s/promised_but_missing_feature_list_will_update/

Something as basic as transportation and vehicle transport cut from the game...

You can grab a sodding cart in Skyrim and tell them where to take you, or any other RPG that allows for such a basic thing. No wonder the game just has fast travel loading screen hotspots now. We were supposed to have actual other modes of transport, but they got super lazy and decided to go with the hotspot fast travel hubs.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

With the way thw game is bombing on consoles metacritic wise, I am glad I follow my instinct of waiting for consoles reviews after it became pretty obvious they were holding back console reviews. They deserved the backlash.

why the hell did they realesed this game in such sorry state on concoles!!! Why not make this PC first, and then consoles!? CDprojekt realy shot themselves in the foot this time, the damage is huge! Cyberpunk 2077 name is in the mud, once a favorite for Goty 2020 and now this!

4/10, savage.

CDPR management meetings call with FAQ's if anyone's interested in listening on what they plan to do with the game/refunds/consoles:

Well, it's unfortunate to see console players getting shafted with a terrible release. Glad I opted to get the PC version, although even there I've still run into some issues. Hopefully, CDPR will have the game in a good state in the next month or two.

Choices & Consequences: 4/10

Can't really say if this is really that bad or not, I haven't played it yet, just watched my son play for a bit, but this is what I was affraid of - while I liked TW3 (around 7.5-8/10), it failed me quite hard as a proper RPG and I was hoping C2077 woulde be, given the Cyberpunk license, more like P&P experience.

Ah well, there's always VtM: Bloodlines 2 to look forward to, but given the current mess around it, that might be just another fool's hope.

The next no man's sky? I'll pick it up in a year probably.
