First review on the PS4 and Xbox One versions on Metacritic is a 35.
The console versions are going to get slammed.
Xbox One/PS4- "Textures that don't display or are runny, pronounced aliasing, low definition, overdue framerate, freezes, lagging interface, crashes... these Fat versions are a striking proof that Cyberpunk 2077 should have never been anything but a next-gen game."
PS4- "However, those playing on a base PS4 are going to struggle to find any kind of enjoyment in the game due to the blurry visuals, framerate drops and muddy look the game has".
A complete technical mess.

I watched DF's video on the PS4 version; it's an absolute steaming pile of shit on that platform. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that for a major production. CDProjekt RED is bound to lose a whole lot of respect in the industry now. Going from being the ones to tell off the giants of the industry for their wayward ways, to becoming just another part of the problem themselves. With the hype and the investment riding on this both financially and in credentials, this is going to hurt them a lot.
Crazy how the Sony and MS bigwigs allow them to be released.

That's a good point. The game should have been pushed back until later this month for a few updates to hit. Should have just released Series X|S, PS5 and PC versions.
I'm maybe 8 hours in and it is amazing. I'm also playing it on hardware that allows it to be so. This game was announced when the X1 and PS4 were new on the market. The owners of the last gen hardware deserve better IMO.

Glad publications are starting to hold them accountable. Couldn't believe how many reviews I saw initially that mentioned all of the bugs yet still gave it a perfect score.

The reviewers though are either playing on PC, Series X or PS5. If they gave it a good score, it's based on their experience with the game. No foul play tbh.
ME Andromeda looks like a polished game close to the base versions of Cyberpunk.
It is really sad such an amazing company allowed that to happen.
I knew I was in for a ride when I encountered bugs in the character creation screen. A couple of hours in so far, some glitches like collision issues, vanishing NPCs, poor ground detection etc. abound. And one crash to desktop so far.
So far it's... good? Not the best thing ever, but sort of a decent mix of Deus Ex and Saints Row. A soild 8 or perhaps even 9 from me after some fixes.
Playing on PC BTW, I can't imagine how it's like for the console folks.
Will definitely be waiting for the next gen version
