What were Switch launch numbers?

1.5 million. It didn't have a staggered launch across different regions though, IIRC.

So it sold more than Xbox Series at launch, but less than PS5 once you add in Europe's delayed numbers.

The DualSense controller for the PS5 should help be a system seller for the PS5. Absolutely everyone that I've had check out Astro's Playroom is enamored with it. Truly a revolutionary controller. Nintendo and Sony do a great job of fine tuning/pushing the industry in different ways.

Didn't Xbox sell 1,345 million? How is it half than Switch?

My bad, I accidentally looked at the wrong row in the graph.

Switch still had a bigger opening than Xbox Series, but only but around 150k.

Just noticed that if these numbers hold then PS5 just had the largest week of all time in the USA, ahead of XB360's 1.06M for Black Friday 2011.
