Ok so in North America this week both the PS3 and Xbox 360 sold around 65k units according to VGC data.

In Others, the Xbox 360 sold around 65k whereas the PS3 sold around 100k.

This means that in the West the Xbox 360 sold 130k and the PS3 sold 165k.

I want everybody to give four predictions. The hardware numbers for both console across the Western regions for the week GTAIV launches, and for the week after GTAIV launches.

It will be interesting to see what kind of impact people think this game can have on hardware sales, as well as how evenly distributed between the two consoles people believe the boost will be.

It would be nice if a mod could sticky this (and then unsticky it a couple of weeks after GTAIV launches).

anyways I think each console will be above 150k in both regions.

just add 200k for others for both consoles.

no idea, but I expect hard boost to be far bigger for the PS3 in Europe and about the same in the USA

about soft, 1,8/1 for 360 in USA and 1.2/1 for PS3 in Europe. 1.5/1 for 360 worldwide

add 150k to 360 and add 200k to the PS3

You think that the Xbox 360 will sell 280k consoles and the PS3 will sell 365k consoles in the West in one week?

I have to say, that seems VERY high to me.
