The lock however... what would you call ASAP? I mean, the site clocks were never even fixed so your posts are showing as an hour into the future already for me. And if posts are still being made an hour from now then it wasn't really "ASAP"

i wouldn't go by actual time anyway, seeing as it depends on which mod is online for taking action but first mod post=lock

I've had no trouble with threads. Sure they will be orange and say "0" but I click them and they work.

The Spam Delete option is rarely used and is typically only ever used on Spambots.

I've Spam deleted roughly 20 Spambots over the course of the week who didn't post in the forums but were spamming users walls with "I want to fuck your pussy" but if he spammed that in threads too I would have still used it.

NightlyPoe requested his Spam Delete from Machina.

Well, I was looking at this old thread of mine a while ago, and I noticed that several people quoted a post by John2290, even though I can't see his post in the thread. Oddly enough, he doesn't seem to be banned though?

Alright, so let me clarify a bit since I'm the mod in question here.

I was doing a ban for someone. Among other issues were some objectionable posts on their walls.

When you ban people, there's a little box that says "Delete PMs and Walls". So... thinking this would delete PMs and walls, I thought "oh, well that seems appropriate for this situation, I'll do just that".

Unbeknownst to me clicking that box actually deletes every post they've made, and apparently some posts that quote them as well.

There's a possibility that I may have used that on other users too, if this has happened before. Like, John requested a ban, so I figured he'd want his walls wiped clean too. Now that I know that clicking the box doesn't do what I thought, I won't be clicking it anymore.

So, this was not an effort to delete posts. I legitimately had no idea that was even something I could do, and was as surprised as anyone else. I think they're working on changing the way that option works so it won't be an issue in the future.

Agreed. It's a good thing because I was almost banned once. I forget who since they didn't make much of an impression but I do recall their abuse (which may have been accidental if the buttons weren't configured properly) and saying they no longer have authority to mod my account. Maybe an admin can get in touch just to be sure.
