Witcher 2 on PC was also well ahead of the curve for a game releasing in 2011:

I feel like Lords of Shadow would not look out of place on PS4 in 2014 or 2015.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Resident Evil 0 (2002 - Gamecube)
Resident Evil Remake (2002 - Gamecube)
Resident Evil 4 (2005 - Gamecube)

When I played Resident Evil games on the Gamecube, I was blown away. There is many GameCube games I could mention (Soul Calibur 2, Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine's water), it felt like the GameCube was half a generation ahead of the PS2 in terms of graphics (which was a big deal back then). The detail in resident Evil remake & Zero was amazing. It got me extremely hyped for Resident Evil 4.

I have (or have/had in the household): ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amiga, NES, Sega Master System, Super Nintendo, Sega Megadrive, Gameboy, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Windows 95, Gameboy Colour, Windows 98, Sega Dreamcast, Gameboy Advance, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Windows XP, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, Windows Vista, iPhone, Windows 7, 3DS, Wii U, PS4, Windows 10, PSVR, Switch, PS5 & PSVR2. :D

and I Don't have: Magnovox Odyssey, Any Atari's, Any Macintosh computers, Sega Gamegear, Virtual Boy, Sega Saturn, N-gage, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PSP, PSVita & Andoid Phone. Plus any non-main-stream consoles/platforms I haven't mentioned.

I am going old school here but Turok 3 on the N64 looked like a Dreamcast game, technically it this only makes it powerful for the system it was on and not really for it's period of time though. Rogue Leader still looks great and it was a launch title. all the Metroid Prime titles, Conkers bad fur day. it can be a long list

Check the link below. (note to Admins: it's not really porn please don't ban me!)

What? No.

It looked good for a N64 game, but I struggle to find a single Dreamcast game that looked as ugly as this (per Dreamcast standards). And I played quite a lot of Dreamcast games during the 3 years it got new releases.

Metro Last Light was another late 7th gen game where the PC version basically looked like an early next gen game come ahead of time.
