I love playing my Nintendo Switch while I am in bed, so I need joycons. Thats why I think Switch is the best console this generation

Some more details: I didn't call Nintendo at all, I registered on there repair page, which stated you send in a device, they check it and offer a price for repair. I read some german sites which stated they got it repaired for free so I tried my luck. Officially Nintendo germany doesn't repair for free.

I cleaned my sticks with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, let them sit for an hour, and they work like new. Look up a video on youtube with a q tip without taking them apart. It really does work, but I had to do it like 3 times before the issue went away completely.

I would try to send them in. I sent all four of mine in and they fixed them for free!

Here's how I fixed it out of warranty. Also, you can find two sticks for 10€ or so from Wish or Aliexpress, takes half an hour to change when you do it the first time.
