Around the Network

No real order:

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic 2
Sonic 3
Ghouls n Ghosts
Golden Axe
Streets of Rage
Cobra Command
Popful Mail
Kid Chameleon
Wonderboy in Monster World

I had to take Mortal Kombat out to stay at 10. I also played a lot of Echo, Altered Beast, Toejam and Earl, and Shinobi.  There are probably a few more that were important to me too, but I can't think of them right now.

You know, thinking back on it now, I think Genesis was the most important system in terms of its impact on my love for gaming. I started with the Atari 2600 when I was a toddler, and played in the Master System/NES era as well. But, Genesis is where I really got into the hobby. I owned a SNES as well, and it was also important. But, it was a distant second place to the Genesis/Sega CD/32X in my house.

no love for Comix Zone?

hehehehe

Will there be a game gear round as well? I played some Sega games but actually owned a Game Gear :P

There will be. I just haven't decided whether I want to do the main consoles first, then handhelds, or intersperse handhelds with the corresponding generation of consoles they came with.

P.S. This may be somewhat off topic, but I bought a clone console not too long ago that plays Genesis games at 1080p, and with glorious sound. It runs everything natively too. No emulation at all! It's called Mega SG and is awesome!
