Just so everyone knows in here, I'm relying on your words on MGS4 to decide if I want to buy it. I'll need to know if there is a whole lot of plot or not.

metal gear online is a separate game to metal gear solid 4. so we won't really get anything from the story with this beta.

 I understand that, sorry for the confusion. I used this thread because I knew this is where the MGS4 fans would congregate, and I wanted to get my request out there. 

I finally got the site to work for me but when I confirmed the data it told me there was an error and I had to contact the admin. My id has been registered but it won't let me log in. This is really starting to piss me off beyond what I thought was possible.

lol, it keeps telling me that my e-mail address has already been used for a KonamiID. In fact, it apparently decides this when I load the page and haven't even submitted my e-mail address.

YES, YES, YES AND YES! I have a Konami ID!!!!!!!!! And Game ID!!!!

That happened to me. If it says that your email address has already been used for a Konami ID, try logging in to the actual site with the Konami ID and password you used. It should log you on, and you can find out all your information from there.

What I was saying was that I hadn't yet entered my e-mail address and it said that the e-mail that I 'entered' was already used. So unless this was a similar process for MGS3:Subsistance's online (don't remember at all), I don't have a KonamiID

*edit* - Great, it finally worked.... and I stress finally. Still waiting on the confirmation e-mail though. 

I just completed the Konami ID registration and confirmed the email. What a frustrating couple of days it's been just to get updated and registered.
