I think you only get notifications when you're following the game, not when it's on your wishlist, but I'm not 100% sure.

OT: It looks good and that they put effort in it, with a nice variety of options to tweak the game's settings. We'll see how it performs once it launches.

Nah, because Detroit, while better looking, didn't have a big change from the PS4 release. This, and Death Stranding, promise PC specific stuff!

Understood, so basically better clarity/precision due to 4k native and perhaps more smooth on the fps but nothing worth discussion?

I did like the DF video showing the gains of the checkerboard 4k done on Detroit that costed less computing power than the native pixel count that were able to present same clarity.

Base gpu is much higher than PS4 and similar to PS4 Pro. Kind of shows the weakness of these 2 consoles.

Recommended specs give 1080p60fps in original settings.

Eh, it's not as simple as a hardware comparison. A computer has to dedicate resources to keep the OS and any background applications running, plus pushing the original code to allow for uncapped framerates, better reflections, and all the additions exclusive to this release. It just isn't something that can be determined 1:1 (PS5 and Series X are no different).

True, but we know the R9 290 smokes the gpu in the ps4 on all fronts. Compute and performance. And in terms of technical specs on paper the R9 290 is slightly ahead of the PS4 Pro obviously you can't draw conclusions based on that.

But I don't think it's controversial to say the R9 290 is much better than the base PS4 and similar to the PS4 Pro in terms of performance.

(And the recommended specs giving 1080p60fps in original settings is in the trailer of the game 1:13 in the trailer)

Oh, I'm not arguing where it gets beat. Make no mistake! I'm saying (relative to how consoles work versus PCs), these two machines weren't actually weak. They just didn't chase the high-end in this cycle and that actually paved a better road for the PS5 and Series X to be returns to form. 

Oh I see the problem here, I'm saying in todays context you can see why they really needed replacing as soon as possible. When the console starts to become lower than the minimum spec for PC games, things really need to change is all.

But yes I agree PS5 and XSX are aiming to be high end gaming PC's compared to the low to mid range gaming PC that the XB1 and PS4 were at launch.

Which makes me fearful of the price..
