Nintendo has claimed their direction, their not spear heading Sony or Microsoft, their taking everything besides what those guys are doing.

The options, the 80 million people that dropped off the gaming industries wagon, the unknown number more who were had the reasons not to like gaming or be tangent of it.

Look at it this way, if by 2010 the Wii has 70million user base and the PS3 has 30 million and Nintendo decides to move in on the PS3's mainstream regardless of HD, their giving options to 70 million + the above group within the stream for Sony/Microsoft.

The impact that leaves requires very little explanation.

Sony has really nothing more to do than just push out quality games, but none of the titles that I've mentioned appeal to me, if they had MH3 stilll on the PS3 I'd of been all over it but they don't. I already have CoD4 so I'm happy with my PS3, just play a game and enjoy it.

Forget the PS3 domination, as funny as it is, just lenjoy your PS3, I know I'm enjoying mine.

 And that still makes money for Sony . The fact that they made a hnadheld was actually a pretty good idea , looking at the PS3s curent state in Japan ...

Look at the PSP, it was supposedly near excitintion against the NDS.

I actually like the original points made, but the thread title doesn't match too well.

I doubt Sony will be able to create a slim PS3 for another couple of years, when cooling technology catches up with what's needed.

It costs huge sums of money to come up with a functional redesign, and then that redesign is like rerolling your hardware issues.

I don't think we'll see a PS3 slim for at least 3 years, and maybe never.

I thought that was what the title meant, lol. Dolphins do own sharks, and if a shark is in a pool of dolphins, it's dead mean. That's what I assumed. :P
