It's sad to see.

Rockstar has really slowed down with developing games. I am tired of GTAV. Single player was fun and all, but not going to play it again. And I have no interest in GTA Online anymore. I'd rather get GTAVI or RDR1 Remake.

And the two DLCs (Lost and Damned + Ballad) that had enough content for a game and the portable games.

Wow, not even any sort of "Definitive edition" or remaster something like that? That sounds pretty bad tbh.

How many games get released in 3 consecutive console generations anyways? The only example I can think of really is FIFA 14 (which got released as the last ever PS2 game, the PS3 and as a launch game for the PS4. Though in fairness FIFA is more impressive in a way since it was released simultaneously in the 3 generations (which really speaks to the longevity of the PS2)

Resident Evil 4, and expect it to be launched on PS5 as well.

I wonder how many people are going to rebuy it.

Probably over 10M.

People keep buying it, even at times full price. So why bother releasing GTAVI? GTAV also has no real competitor.

It is like World of Warcraft, keep releasing small content packs and people will keep playing, even re-release the old version of the game.

When GTA V is 15 or 20 years, I bet they release it again.

New releases can be risky, just look at Nintendo.

Wii was selling well and kept selling well, but then Nintendo was like nah lets move on to the Wii U instead.

I wonder how many people are going to buy it again, considering the possibility of the PS5 having backwards compatibility.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

It is not a possibility it is certain PS5 and XSX are BC. And from the trailer it just seems like a BC version without any improvements. Still it may push additional 10M sales and quite possibly they may sell a improved version instead of giving free patch.

Seems weird going through a whole gen without a new GTA but turns out that's going to be the case. And now, instead announcing a new 9th gen game, they're remastering an 8th gen 7th gen remaster...
