The game received another 100/100 today.

Also it seems (if is not confirmed already) that the game will receive an update adding a grounded mode (just like part I) and a permadeath mode (once you die you will start the game according to rumours).

But in a couple of hours/days we will see some confirmation.

That's cool.

I can't believe TLoU2 had zero updates since launch, and if it's to get one it's to add more things instead of fixing something.

Almost doesn't feel like a game from its era xD

Yes I found it odd that even start playing like a week after launch and tooking like a week to platinum I didn't see any patch, and I asked to verify daily. And I only encountered a single odd bug, that was quite easy to fix.

I got 90% of the collectibles on the first run, with 80% of the parts and meds, which was almost what was possible. And I know you didn`t ask me =p

I think I got a bit more of collectibles and upgrade materials but it sounds about right.

Can't believe I missed collectibles tho, I looked everywhere while playing xP

I was also in denial for the 10% collectibles I missed, I also looked everywhere. But when I played with guide on the missing ones I was like "owww yes I really didn't got tho this obscure crany".

It seems that aside of the extra modes the update contains a lot more content like infinite ammo, 8 and 4 bits sound and much more.

Other companies charge extra money for these kind of extra content!!
Congrats to ND

4bits sound, is that a thing?

According to the update, yes.

8 and 4 bits audio

Tomorrow: New free update :)

The Atmosphere of The Last of Us 2 is insane. Love it!

can't wait to see this without any film grain, and to try out the cell shaded mode

OP/thread title updated.
The game got a 5 on Opencritic and the score went down to 93.

From that site:

- Oninaki 7.5

- Resident Evil Resistance 7.5

Yeah.... Nahhh...

Started playing the game 2 weeks ago and got the platinum yesterday and my god how mind blowing and breathtaking that experience was for me and i can comfortably say that its the best video game i’ve played since i’ve started my gaming journey after buying an 80GB PS3 more than a decade ago on September 2009.

Yeah.... Nahhh...

I looked up for some of their reviews too, as I'd never seen them, and seems like they are usually pretty harsh overall with their scores, specially that particular reviewer.

They gave TLoU Remastered a 9 tho.

And Sea of Thieves a 10...

There are several aspects of this game that are above plenty AAA games, even is not the story you wanted, Soundtrack, sound, visuals, mechanics, accessibility and content are top-notch.

I personally didn’t liked AAA games like Zelda Bowt and RDR2, but I wouldn’t put any less than 8/10 to each game.
But again every person has their own opinion.

5.6 on avg for user reviews. Without the leaks and fake backlash this would have done much better.

Shame on the guy who leaked the story.

A five seems perfectly fair though, I mean I've seen people be much harsher on it and give it a higher score. C'mon though BraLOD, surely it's settled with you now and you still don't consider this game to be a masterpiece? Not saying you're not entitled to do so but have the flaws not set in over the last seven or eight weeks? Not even slightly?

This game is one of the games that deserve the most to be called a masterpiece. It's one of the least flawed games ever made, actually I can point no flaws on it myself, it's completely solid all around.

I thought with time it would be distancing itself from the original but it's actually growing even more on me.

Naughty Dog is truly one of a kind nowdays, this game is really powerful.

10/10 very easily.

terrible pacing

ham-fisted messaging

contrivances

lack of multiplayer (previous game had mp meaning more bang for your buck, this one doesn't have it)

forced drama

terrible ending
