69k user reviews. Hehe. Is this a first? Or is it at least a first in one week?

I think it is a first for both.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

It's wild, the closest I can find is 30k and even the most reviewed bombed games are half of that.

Never underestimate the power of homophobic Facebook Karens to assemble an army to strike down sin.

Metacritic now at 76k reviews and the positive keeps growing faster than the negatives, now the score is 4.4

How many of these homophobic 'Karens' have you found in metacritic?

It's dropped down to a 94 on Metacritic. Got a 70 from a publication called the Gamer.

Gamers rise up

It's scores post emargo date have been all over the place.
I believe these are all critics that didnt receive a review copy of the game?

Wrong assumption. The 1 week advanced reviews had restrictions on revealing story, the ones that released after the embargo had less restrictions but that isn't because they didn't receive a copy of the game.

Look at Digital Foundry they gave two reveals, one on the week advance and one on release day.

Yes, and Gamespot did the same thing as well, as did a few other reviewers. But Metacritic only published the first review and the scores actually were the same so that didnt make a difference.

I didnt bother to check all of them but "The Gamer" has a note at the end of the review stating they purchased a copy which brought forth my question.

Well meta only uses the first score a reviewer give, so perhaps some of the reviewers could release the preliminary but no score to them with the full give a score.

About the gamer perhaps they aren't recognized as noteworthy so ND or Sony didn't give them a copy.
