"Most people". You don't know most people to be able to make that proclamation. I agree with those who say some of you have let this get to a point now. We're talking about a bunch of damn pixels on a screen, yet people act like their freakin' lives will end because a video game didn't go how they wanted it to. It's ridiculous and my sympathy is nill.

It's the death knell of one of the big three in gaming. "get woke go broke" as they say.

For those who don't know my politics, the above is sarcasm and views that I find abhorrent and stupid. Just to make things obvious.

Around the Network

The game has now over 48k reviews

It is more double of reviews than what all GTA V versions put together got in almost 10 years

It's basically the reviews of: The Witcther 3, Uncharted 4, Red Red Redemption 2 and God of War all put together

If you can't see it's a trolling hate campaign and think it's instead a true source of how of public is reacting to game than you are an actual idiot...

Interesting reactions here. A lot of people let down by the game as expected, and not understanding how it could have so many 10's. Gives me the impression if we had a pool here definitely this game would not be a 9.5 or 10 game.
Im very interested to read peoples opinions on all the lies ND told on purpose in the trailers which is something I have never seen to this extent on a game.
Now let me go back to lurking.

45K user reviews, it just don't stop xD

It has awoken the beastly silent casuals, the true final boss. So many people are confused right now wondering what why the fuck this game has so many tens across the board and it'll get worse. I've casual extended family who rarely game and people on my friends list who I han't spoken to in years who log on to play Fifa and big hits like RDR2 and the like reflecting the same sentiments. This is a majour hit for Sony. Naughty Dog will not bare the brunt of this as much cause they can scrap the IP but Sony isn't getting away with it, esspecially after the deceptive advertising in the trailers. This is going to be a worse shit show in the coming days.

Casuals do not have a metacritic account/will not make a metacritic account just to rate this game. It will never be the case with any game.

EDIT: Casuals will never care about critic reviews.

I'd like to point out one interesting thing about the "user" scores on Metacritic this morning. While we've talked a lot about the trolling campaign, there are also now more than 16,000 positive user reviews of TLOU2 there too now, which itself is nearly double the grand total number of reviews given to the original game. The difference here being that I haven't seen anyone question whether those positive user reviews are real yet because everyone knows they are instinctively, given this context. Just thought I'd point that out this morning.

A lot of those positive reviews are bots as well.

When the supporters saw such a big amount of hater bots they used their own.

A lot of people that give it perfect marks also have bots prepared for XB exclusives as well.

Oh. Well that's lame.

50k reviews on metacritic score is 3.9 on 7k reviews on PSN the score is 4,5/5

EDIT: And it is funny to see some pretending the user scores and quantity on metacritic is real. The PSN score is from people that bought game so it is much more credible. But to force a narrative we have to see the pretending that metacritic user review is more trustworthy than the professional reviewers there. From the 4.5/5 on PSN to 95 on professional review is quite close, while the 3.9 is very very very far.

How are Metascores inaccurate?

Not all scores are counted, with this instance, 3 of the most critical reviews for this TLOU2 havnt been counted such as Kotaku, Polygon and Skill-Up. So technically this game wouldnt be a 96 or 95 if everything was accounted for hence why its not accurate. Same for User scores, its all just bias opinions.

So perhaps the professional reviews is 1 or 2 points innacurate because of some companies not giving reviews or weights compare to over 50 points innacurate on the users review because?

I'd like to point out that Metacritic actually has removed review bombing user scores in the past. Even for much smaller titles that got bombed less, like Astral Chain. I think they might have done it for Animal Crossing too, but ended up keeping a lot of the negative reviews up because they complained about things like not being able to have more than one island on a system or the limited ability for 2and players to play.

So I actually wouldn't worry too much about review bombing, in the long run.

Well in the EU PSN 4k of those reviews were left at 5 stars before the game even released so it's pretty skewed.

How far ar ya in thr game?

Haven`t received mine yet. Waiting for it.

My friend yesterday was almost at the end and although agree with the "teen drama" and was worried about the SJW leaks and whatnot, but have been loving the game and said it have been the best of the gen so far.
