Wow, Metroid Dread is doing better than expected. Also nice seeing more PS5 games.

29 points for Metroid and even the Limited version charting??? Looks like Metroid finally getting some traction in Japan.

Huh, didn't even realize Far Cry 6 was so close to release. Ubisoft must have really pumped the breaks on their ad campaigns cause I've seen next to nothing (and I'm not referring to advertising in Japan).
Some exciting movements around the bottom of the pre-order charts. Thanks for that!
[3DS] Metroid: Samus Returns (2017) - 28.596 / 42.437
[GBA] Metroid Fusion (2003) - 49.680 / 155.528
[FC] Metroid (1986) - 1.040.000
For Metroid Dread a debut of 50K would be amazing for the series in Japan, while lifetime sales above 100K would be the 3rd best result ever in the country for the franchise. Currently Metroid Fusion is the 2nd best selling title with 155K lifetime sales back in 2003 on the GBA. Depending on launch numbers and WoM Dread has the opportunity to end up the second best selling Metroid in the country.
[PS4] Far Cry 5 (2018) - 81.405 / 147.573
[PS4/PS3] Far Cry 4 (2015) - 61.411 / 123.576
[PS3/360] Far Cry 3 (2013) - 40.485 / 99.018
[PS3/360] Far Cry 2 (2008) - 10.142 / 21.260
In terms of Far Cry 6 its likely going to end up the second worst selling title in the franchise in Japan. Western titles like this reached their peak in 2018, but the software situation on the PS4/PS5 is entirely different nowadays. This will be the first Western title to show how much the market for AAA games has shrunk as the PS4 is phased out and PS5 isn't selling software.

Super Metroid sold over 500k, that's the second best selling one.
Edit: forgot where I originally got that from. Wikipedia says Super Metroid didn't perform well in Japan but no numbers are named, Game Data Library has no data on it, so maybe I was wrong.

And how much did they sell, or is it just a ranking?
It is not really a lot, but i like how Metroid Dread keeps on getting points.
