Finally beat the asshole 48 to 41. Few words.

Mini games in Final Fantasy, actually all RPG's, are a a fun way to break away from the real game and they should be stress relievers not creators. This mini game, for the in game reward (another champion belt) and for what is a bronze trophy for completionist, should not have been that challenging. Can you believe that this trophy for a mini game is lookin to be the hardest one in entire game? A mini game ... being the hardest trophy in the game.

My characters are level 45 now, so I'm just the grind rest out before moving on the next chapter.

There is absolutely no need to grind from there, just move on already :)

Too late. All characters 50 :)

I noticed that I still need more SP. Enough manuals to cover it in Shinra? Buy them somewhere?

Need to go beat a certain summon up then I am making mad dash towards to end of my first run.

Took me no more than 15 minutes to beat him.

So I don't believe that this trophy is the hardest one in the entire game.

If you didn't, you can buy some manuals for Moogle Medals.  Some of the manuals cannot be obtained till hard mode.  I think you need some of those before you can unlock the final core for your weapons.

Beat the last summon by the skin on my teeth. It was his turn to do u know what but Cloud, the only man up, beat him to the punch with Asecension! That was edge of seat thrilling!

It´s very stupid and annoying there´s only one 'All' materia in the entire fucking game, two of them would have been perfect without making the game too easy.

Idk about that.  Being able to magnify both barrier and cure seems like it may have been broken.  Maybe one for offensive and one for defensive spells would work.

Yep.

Chp 15 was awesome. Loved it!

Currently on chp 16. I love how the FMV about the ancients is just FF14 lolol.

endgame is obnoxious but it confirms a things:

* Again this is sequel hidden in a remake.
* I have a theory on the ghost past preserving the FF7 timeline - I think the ghost are a metaphor for memories of FF7 players. The ghost are us.
* They are clearly getting the key aspects of FF7 out the way quickly. All the major aspects of FF7 have been referenced in some way. I sense that the next part could be drastically different and the possibilities are exciting. I love how the ghost drag Hojo out the room before he could reveal clouds secret out in a very *nope to early* fashion
* game is like Fuck Wedge

Jumping on the meta-commentary bandwagon just like most everyone.

There's quite a LOT that they haven't touched. But to see any of it, you have to play it as the game being standalone, and as if you've never played the original. Because the game, while having been made for fans, was also made for newcomers. And as such, playing the original isn't required.

So many people do as you do and keep making references and links to the original, as a sequel, that include time traveling , multi-dimensions, or anything like that. But if you'd try to take the game in isolation instead of linking it to the original, you could come up with other conclusions and theories that are far more grounded than those Kingdom Hearts shenanigans.

That being said, nothing will be known for sure until S-E releases information about the sequel.

Did you guys have to recopy the game at all after initial doing it? Woke up this morning and I have to do the data disk again
