It feels like US votes being counted are a bit like the race course paradox. It takes a day to count 1/2, then another day to count 1/4, then another day to count 1/8, then another day to count 1/16...

I hope its all legit, but it just seems like they are prolonging it on purpose for some reason.

Should I believe a civil war will happen in USA ?IDK? but in this video they talk about hangings in comment section bringing up simpsons predict massive and another video against minorites I'm a minority I'm scared. If too my fellow minories from other countries like mexico and south america what would you do if you were in this situtation? Or I'm too scared ?

I would say a civil war is far less likely if Biden wins(which is pretty much a given at this point), but Im sure a lot of people in here would disagree with me. You will probably get sick of conservatives complaining about the election, but they will most likely not get physical.

Watched Bidens speech about being a president for both opposing sides and it was really good, those talks are what America needs and not the endless duallity.

I hope so because the preview of simpsons where america is destroyed scared me it was a halloween special

Yeah, I wouldnt worry too much. I think most people just want this election to be over with.

USA has neither.
The "american dream" of working hard, anyman can succede and be well off, is actually not true.
The US has lower social mobility than basically any european country.

If your born into a poor family in the US, chances are very high, you' ll be poor your entire life too.
Statistics show this.

No one is asking for "equal outcome", its ridiculous to even meantion that.
However, the poor can't carry the load and heavy burdon to the degree they currently are... its not healthy for the nation overall that so few sit on all the wealth.

Incom inequality is a huge issue in the US.
You can be poor and have worked much harder than any rich man, and still stay poor.
Some people have multiple jobs and are still struggleing.  Basically if your working like 14hours+ a day, and cant make ends meet, something is wrong with the system.

Also the inferstructure in the US has issues.
Clean drinkable water is actually a issue in large parts of america.
Pipes are old, rusty, in need of replacements, and theres just no money for it.

The solution is to tax the rich, and deal with such issues.

No, its a very short time solution in that case. It wont happen. Rich people arent just going to give away most of their money. They will fuck off and leave you with way less. Its a pipe dream and you need to come up with something better.

I live in Quebec, Canada. The most taxed region in North America. What you're suggesting are simply not happening, not in any significant way.

And they should be paying more, or what do you think those tax havens are for? They are hiding their cash to lower the taxes they have to actually pay. Income inequality has to come down somehow and it's obviously not going to trickle down.

Income inequality? Most rich people arent just sitting on their ass doing nothing and have buckets of money delivered to them. They work hard and have their entire life. Just silly to think someone working at McDonalds should make the same as a person who built their own company over many years. Equal opportunity is great. Equal outcome is ridiculous.

Nobody think a McDonald'S employee should earn as much as a company owner. But, what's truly silly is that the McDonald employee can actually pay more share of their revenue as tax than rich people.

You can't have a working nation if you don't tax properly those that receive a lion share revenue.

No, but you cant tax rich people 60% like Biden wants either. Not in the US. They just wont stand for it or find ways to pay less. Keep the tax lower and they will pay all of it instead of a fraction of it. Its still way above what regular people will ever pay.

the 60% figure is not about income tax. It's an estimate of all taxes combined including income tax, assets tax, sales taxes and others. On that front your own country stands at 62% and Sweden even higher at 76%. So yes it it plausible and doable.

.

Why would somebody come her for the Norwegian dream?  What kind of point is that?  Also, on that 60% figure, I hear that thrown around all the time.  You do understand that nobody is ever taxed that high right?  The rich have lobbied for tax breaks and loopholes all over the place. They may be expected to pay something like that, but the by the time they have put in all their deductions and credits, they usually are down to 10-20%.  Just look at Romney’s tax returns
