Samus Aran, OG bad ass woman in a game.
People complain that Samus could as well be a man, but that’s the point that makes her bad ass. Just like Ripley from Alien the focus isn’t on the fact that Samus is a woman, the focus is that she is a bad ass that just happends to be a woman.
No focus on trying to convey it is a woman (at least in the early games) by accentuating the breasts with skimpy outfits during most of the game, just a bad ass that, if you cleard original Metroid fast enough, got revealed to be a woman.
