Well Microsoft isn't going to give all of their information away for Sony just to take note, plus they probably haven't nailed down clock speeds and total RAM amounts just yet...
Those aren't specs, just the compute power of the console. We still don't know the specs they're using to reach that number.
Please excuse my bad English.

I think I'm getting caught up on the fact that both improve frame rate.

Again, I’m aware of all that, which is why they shouldn’t unveil until they’re totally ready.
As for those totals, yes, they’re nailed down by now.

not really, VRR makes frame rates that dip below the target of 30*/60/120 feel more fluid on supported screens due to simply displaying eg 53 fps as 53Hz instead of 60Hz (meaning some frames would be doubled or even trippled)
*maybe not this
They have a weaker/cheaper version of Series X. maybe it will come between 400-600 bucks while cheaper 300-400.

Not true we all know that the PS4 RAM amount was changed at the very last minute, which took many developers by surprise. I'm sure they have an idea but don't want commit just yet until they have an idea what Sony might be doing.
