Forums - General Discussion - What is your saltiest moderation?

I haven't been moderated in years, and when I was it was justified. At least in the sense that you're not allowed to call a troll a troll.

Never been moderated so I'm salty because I don't have anything to show in this thread.

Just call me a xbot fanboy. That'll do it. Unless it won't because I gave you consent... Maybe I need a way to instigate it...

Umm... Don't do it?

You'll hurt my feels?

Blinx is a better platformer than Celeste. It has tighter controls and the skill celing dumps on celeste.

Is ok, I'm a drone fanboy.

And there is a good number of platformers that have tighter controls than Celeste, so there is a chance I wouldn't disagree there.

I hope they make a TMS sequel.

Dude, Celeste is still excellent.

So do I.  Won't happen but I'd love to have one again from Atlus. I'm also a Persona fan so even games that are similar from Atlus in even the smallest of ways have my attention.

Heh I've also been reprimanded for doing the same. Even trolls have rights!

Trolls have the right to live in a cave and eat fish all day long.

Today 02-02-2020 is the first global palindrome day in 909 years since 11-11-1111, next will come in 101 years on 12-12-2121 and after that there will not be another date until 03-03-3030... you get the idea.

Let's celebrate this rare and special day by returning to an old topic recently brought up by a salty member (I kid, I kid) about salty moderations. Won't be making a list of good and bad users this time around, but still feel free to share your best moderation.

Kudos to OTB for this thread idea.

Well let me see... This moderation I'm thinking about, I was right, the mod was wrong. Or perhaps I should say I was very right and the mod was very wrong as opposed to other moderations in which the mod was wrong too but not as wrong, there was room for interpretation. Here is the thing, I don't do "wrong". As a human at worst I can make a mistake and should that happen, I see the mistake for what it is afterwards, but when I stick to my guns it's because I'm not wrong.

Now all this does not matter cause at the end of the day, one is not moderated because one is wrong, one is moderated because somebody else has the power to moderate you. Right and wrong are abstract concepts in the mouth of the speaker, the one being "right" at the end of the day is simply the one with POWER to moderate you, the one being "wrong" is the one that does not have the power to stop the moderation and thus has to take it.

I'm not sure who said this, I think i heard that Hitler said it but I can't be sure: Anyway, the say goes like this: He who has power is ALWAYS right, period!

^ thats why i got banned pretty often

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
