Forums - Nintendo - Exclusive new FPS built from the ground up for Wii: Conduit

Okay now I feel jipped. I knew Wii was capable of much better graphics than even Metroid, and now we know for sure.

To add to that IGN mentions these guys (and others making adult Wii games) can't get publishers. So until a publisher actually signs on, this is a total non-game. Which is a shame, as I'd love a great FPS for the Wii. I don't want to ridiculous flood of FPS the HD systems have, one or two really good ones a year though would be great.

Personally I'd still rather have Time Splitters (no it's not confirmed for Wii) or even Red Steel 2 (assuming it really ups it's game) than this game, but I'll definately keep an eye on it and hope it gets published.

One more thing, in my mind any FPS on Wii better have split screen, online is good too, but definately split screen.

I betcha this will sell about as well as no more heroes. people got so hyped about NMH and it sold like crap.

Wii owners don't want FPS's, they want another mario game. Just look at the sales. Mario sells, games like Red Steel and NMH don't sell that well.

just like ps2 owners really wanted a ps3

OT: many people have already been amazed by this game

High Voltage has some really good people working for them so I'm looking forward to this game.

Hey, do actually know any of them? Is their studio near yours?

EDIT: I'm actually asking, not trying to be sarcastic. It's hard to get that across in writing.

They're in Illinois I believe and I'm in Texas, just know a few people there (know people in a good amount of North American studios).

After seeing the name, signature, and forum picture, there was NO WAY I could take this seriously....just no way. Wii owners are dying for a FPS, why do you think they wish for a Timesplitters exclusive? You know what, find a Driver, make a Getaway, turn left pass the Midnight Club, and go all the way down that street till you see the opened doors of the local auto body repair shop with all the Ratchets and ask them to give you a Gran tune-up. Don't give them any Resistance either, they are good people. On the way out, make sure they don't Jak your car down too quickly.......

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I believe Wii is the best platform for FPS/shooters. I enjoyed RE4 controls, MP3 and even House of the Dead. I am only going to support FPS games on the Wii. SO Conduit is a definite buy for me.

Will support this game no matter what reviews it gets - I think their effort deserves to be supported and what they stand for in terms of Wii development needs to at least be successfull tro the level where others may think hey - they did ok, lets try the same.

Here's some pics of the game in action.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Look, you guys know I'm a big Wii supporter....
But the fact that you are all citing a new game from the developers of 50 Cent: Bulletproof and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude as "good third party support" is quite sad.

I can't imagine this being anything more than shovelware. Looks purty though.
