Done with Ace Combat 7.

Nice graphics unless you get too close to ground level. Air combat is what you expect.

Mission design could be a little more interesting as it's either you fighting other aircrafts or ground targets that don't pose a threat. Rarely something else like a stealth mission or a "boss fight".

Story is meh. Main character is silent and I don't think you can see him outside of aircrafts so you don't even know what he looks like. Bunch of side characters that you don't care about. It has some nice looking CGI cutscenes but they kept any motion within them to a minimum. Seems like the budget was cut short.

7.5/10

No campaign huh, I guess they didn’t learn from Black Ops 4 and Battlefront 1.

Will only give it a try if it hits games pass, I’m sorry but MP only games are not worth full price.

For Battlefield, I'm actually glad it's got no single player. The BF campaigns were always rubbish. The game is ultimately about MP, so go ahead and just go all in on it. Put all your resources and time where they belong, make it the best MP that you possibly can. I'm here for it.

I liked the BF1 campaigns too actually.

June 15th for flight Sim? Damn... cutting it fine.

The most interesting question about the storage is will there be any slot for proprietary external SSD disc which MS will sell as addon for the console? Because it seems like a waste to install next gen games on an external HDD. I'm not even sure if this will work at all if next gen games will be designed with SSD and fast load times in mind.

I believe it was digital foundry who speculated that Series X will have a special cartridge slot on the back, which would allow you to buy special SSD cartridges that could plug into an extra PCI express slot on the motherboard. I hope that is true, it would be nice to have upgrade-able storage, those 1 TB drives that it will come with will fill up pretty quickly when we already have some current gen games like RDR2 that are over 100 GB. I suspect the average AAA game size to go from about 30-40 GB this gen to about 60-70 GB personally, with some well over 100 GB. And using a USB 3.0 based external hard drive would kill load times and affect game performance, giving you texture pop-in issues and such. Even USB 3.2 isn't fast enough to not handicap an NVMe SSD, I think 3.2 is only 2500 MB/s at max, and some of the NVMe SSD's are at like 3500 MB/s in read speeds.

21 posts since 2007! Damn, possibly the best stalker I've seen yet!

Welcome.

1  When will crossfire release?  Enjoyed the beta and this time period would be excellent to release that game.

2. Any sites where I can be update about SSD expansion cards because honestly that's my biggest issue of this generation. They are so expensive and reading some comments about how a 2TB expansion SSD could potentially be years off (one that also works on XS) I can honestly be fecking annoyed by it especially when an potential +100 GB Forza/Flight sim/Halo game are releasing soon...

Just use a regular SSD. It only takes like 5-10 minutes to transfer a 100GB game (depending on the type of SSD).

So far got no issues with space. Got one Series X enhanced game on the external so I don't have to redownload it once I buy a certain DLC (The Division 2) but everything else in on the internal SSD.

You know E3 season has started when the front page is full of quotes from Phil and Matt with comments arriving fast.
