Never a more accurate post.

Crazy seeing vids of people using Retroarch emulation on the Series S, if they do add PS2 emulation then I might have to try it myself.

  • I hate to say this, but I might have to take some fine sandpaper and try to smooth down the back texturing some.

Woudn't that leave the controller with a weird feeling tho? I've seen that tech used on used controllers to ''clean'' them and feels off.

I really like how the controller feels. Much more comfortable than the XBO texture.

Bought the new Calls of Doody because of all the drama here, and I read the RT on it looks nice. First two campaign levels are very solid, movement and gunplay feel very good. MP is surprisingly good. They activated Nuketown 24/7 today. TTK is just the right amount imho. I dig how Ghost doesn't hide you from UAV's if you are being a campy bitch, too. It's the most I have enjoyed a CoD MP since Black Ops II probably.

It hard crashes my XSX though. Has happened three times today. Anyone else playing the MP and getting this issue? It boots right back up no problem. And goddamn the thing loads quick. I also get these random moments where my screen goes black for a second then comes back, anyone else having this issue? It's pretty sporadic.

Just got through reading an article on windows central about this.  Disabling ray-tracing will help, but I'm also reading about the console becoming bricked after being crashed several times.  Might want to stop for a bit until a fix comes in.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Dunno, but it's bound to feel better than the current texture.

Why not just use an older controller or see if someone would be willing to swap?

Sucks that it bothers you that much, but wouldn't it make more sense to just keep using your Xbox One controller for the time being? I mean sure, you lose the share button, and it's got a bit more latency, but it's hardly the end of the world. I'm sure we'll see different versions of the new controllers on the market in due time, they probably won't all have that texture you can't cope with. Maybe just sell this one, get a little extra cash in your pocket, and wait for a controller that suits you.
