Nah this week will be for youtubers and influencers getting hands on gameplay. Next gameplay will probably come later in the month.

Yeah, I think they're just going to announce the date and time of the pre-launch event/XO20, which will probably be next week or the week after or something. |
That’s more then enough for me. We need one final showcase. Gameplay trailers and tie up any other loose ends.
Xbox really needs to release a remake of Banjo and Kazooie/Tooie in the vein of Crash and follow it up with Banjo 3.

One acquisition not two(tooooooooo).
Anyone see Angry Joes latest video? Dude kinda salty MS didn’t send him an Xbox. Though I kinda live for Major Nelson snatching that mic outta his hands. A true Alpha Male move.

Capitalize on the platformer Resurgence. Idk how this hasn’t already been in the works.

It would be dumb not to. At least Psychonauts 2 is releasing next year.

I definitely think that Obsidian doing the next Fallout is going to happen. We all know Bethesda Game Studios is slow at development, if Starfield is 2021 then TES 6 Hammerfell is 2023-2024 probably, which means we wouldn't get a new Fallout from Bethesda until 2026-2027 probably. But Obsidian can get a new Fallout out much faster, assuming that MS staffs up the Outer Worlds team (which is lead by two original Fallout 1 and 2 devs) to AAA size, and that team makes Fallout 5 next instead of Outer Worlds 2. In a way it kind of sucks that we probably won't get Outer Worlds 2 now, or at least won't get it until after the next Fallout, but from a sales perspective it makes sense for Obsidian/MS to focus on Fallout over Outer Worlds; the last Obsidian developed Fallout, New Vegas, sold over 12m copies (and the series has only gotten more popular since then, with Fallout 4 selling over 20m), while Outer Worlds only sold 2.8m as of Take-Two's latest quarterly financials. |
I say expand them to 3 AAA teams since they have enough Creative heads to lead them. Realistically they could do all 3 projects if one the Bethesda support studios assists on a new Fallout.
The TOW team being only 80 staff in house and Avowed being 100 staff with plans to add more shows that Obsidian are very resourceful when it comes to developing games. Josh Sawyer could be given his own AAA team if he wanted to direct a new Fallout game.
One more thing is that if this were to happen would they use Unreal for the next Fallout or the overhauled Creation Engine being used for Starfield and TES 6.
I'm 100% certain Obsidian will make a new Fallout game. It won't be anytime soon, but it will happen. Things are set up too perfectly for it not to happen.
