Easily Halo 3.

Halo CE has very poor level design by today's standard. Incredibly repetitive copy paste stuff and backtracking for hours.
Halo 2 improved a little in that regard on most levels but overall had more levels with poor design compared to CE.
Halo 3's only flaw is the level Cortana which is easily the worst level in the game but I'd still much rather play this than the bad levels of the other Halo games. Other than that huge step up from the other Halo games. Tons of new vehicles and weapons and an exciting story.
Halo 3 ODST was alright. Wouldn't put it anywhere close to the main series though.
Halo Reach was pretty good as well.
Halo 4 is okay but still haven't finished it. Great graphics for a 360 game and gameplay is as good as ever. Story-wise I didn't care much.
Halo 5 is similar to Halo 4 in that regard but I had more fun playing it.h Sadly a little short.

Not going to rate Halo Wars and its sequel as I don't think comparing RTS to FPS makes much sense.

Halo 3 > Halo Reach > Halo 5 > Halo CE > Halo 4 > Halo 2 > Halo 3 ODST

Dragon Age Inquisition 85.00 hours
Gems of War 84.28 hours (+ 0.73)
Battle Islands 75.47 hours
Project Spark 72.20 hours
Fallout Shelter 70.98 hours
Assassin's Creed Origins 60.22 hours (+ 60.22)
Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition 53.00 hours
Battle Ages 45.03 hours
Watch Dogs 43.85 hours (+ 8.98)
Assassin's Creed Syndicate 42.75 hours
Clicker Heroes 40.73 hours
Forza Horizon 2 38.90 hours
Assassin's Creed Unity 38.12 hours
Far Cry 4 37.17 hours
Rise of the Tomb Raider 35.30 hours (+ ?.??)
The Crew 30.77 hours
Far Cry Primal 29.50 hours
Batman Arkham Knight 27.45 hours (+ ?.??)
Rayman Legends 26.90 hours
Prison Architect Xbox One Edition 26.10 hours

Chose to do this again as I've now fully completed AC Origins and I've spent a considerable amout on it. It made it instantly on #6.
Also did various side missions in Watch Dogs. Due to that it moved up four spots from #13 to #9.
Furthermore I decided to list my top 20 instead of top 15. With that I will be able to better compare times in the future, because I have no idea how much time I spent on Rise of the Tomb Raider and Batman Arkham Knight back in November (I'm guessing around 20 hours of Batman).
Shadow of the Tomb Raider made it to #24 after I spent 25.22 hours on the main game. Once I buy the DLCs, it will easily make it into the list.
Many of the new games also stopped showing the time played and it was even removed from some games that previously did, making it harder to properly compare them.

Decided to make an update (last one was in March 2019 so pretty much a year) even though the vast majority of newer games doesn't support time tracking anymore. If possible, I'm going to use in-game times for newer games. Expanded the list to 25 since I hate kicking games out lol.

1. Dragon Age Inquisition 85.00 hours
2. Gems of War 84.37 hours (+ 0.09)
3. Battle Islands 75.47 hours
4. Assassin's Creed Odyssey 73.50 hours (+ 73.50)
5. Project Spark 72.20 hours
6. Fallout Shelter 70.98 hours
7. Assassin's Creed Origins 60.22 hours
8. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition 53.00 hours
9. Battle Ages 45.03 hours
10. Watch Dogs 43.85 hours
11. Assassin's Creed Syndicate 42.75 hours
12. Clicker Heroes 40.73 hours
13. Minecraft (X1 + Bedrock Edition) 40.09 hours (+ ?.??)
14. Forza Horizon 2 38.90 hours
15. Assassin's Creed Unity 38.12 hours
16. Rise of the Tomb Raider 37.30 hours (+ 2.00)
17. Far Cry 4 37.17 hours
18. Kingdom Hearts III 36.76 hours (+ 36.76)
19. Shadow of the Tomb Raider 34.88 hours (+ ?.??)
20. The Crew 30.77 hours
21. Jurassic World Evolution 30.90 hours (+ 30.90)
22. Forza Motorsport 6 29.62 hours (+ ?.??)
23. Far Cry Primal 29.50 hours
24. Batman Arkham Knight 27.45 hours
25. Rayman Legends 26.90 hours

AC Odyssey took #4 and I'm not done with it just yet. Need to do the whole Atlantis DLC and 2/3 of the Legacy of the First Blade DLC. According to TA that should take another 22-29 hours. It will claim the top spot soon.

The next one is actually my mistake. I just noticed that both Minecraft (Bedrock) and Minecraft X1 Edition have their own time trackers. I never considered them individually but I don't see why I shouldn't combine them for this purpose. Would've made the list a lot sooner but can't change that anymore. Nevertheless I play it every time there are new achievements released which is quite often. It's the new #13 with a good chance to rise a little in the future.

Kingdom Hearts III was my game to play in November. The result is #18. Not sure if I'm getting the Re Mind DLC as it doesn't seem that exciting and is really expensive. Will probably drop from here on.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider made it from #24 in March to #19 thanks to its short but numerous DLCs.

Jurassic World Evolution dominated the last days of 2019. There's only an in-game tracker which puts my last save at 30.90 hours. However, I'm pretty sure I reloaded an earlier save to get an achievement here and there so the time is probably closer to 35 hours. Unfortunately it's impossible to tell at this point. At the very least, it's #21 on the list.

Forza Motorsport 6 saw a rise to #22 due to me playing the Porsche and Nascar DLC

Played quite a few games in the 20-25 hours region since the last update. The Outer Worlds missed the top 25 but could make it once the DLC is out. The same is true for Rage 2 (for which the DLC is already released). Another recent game that didn't make the list is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. It fell around 3 hours short. Trials Rising missed the top 25 by 5 hours.

Looking at the future, Red Dead Redemption 2 will eventually make the list. Currently 9 hours in but haven't played it in a while. Other than that there is pretty much nothing in sight that would come close. But who knows, maybe something will drop on Game Pass.

Japan

“When I got into this job, the thing I was seeing were third parties skipping Xbox One and not even shipping on that platform," he said. "There'll still be examples of that and every one of them causes me pain, but the number one thing I wanted to do when I started in this role was to get back on the ground a couple times a year playing with the studio heads, playing their games, and... making them know I had a commitment to their global success."

He mentions that he was pleased with the number of Japanese published games they had at E3, adding, "I’ve been really proud of the way that we built a partnership with almost all the publishers there". Spencer elaborates on Xbox's successful partnerships in Japan, saying the biggest feedback he gets from his time over there is from the studio heads; "they say, 'the people on our studio love working with you guys. They just wish they saw more Xboxes in the stores around here'. You want to be working on a game and have the platform that it's going to be on, be seen in your home country. You want your friends to be able to play it".

Spencer seems keen to focus on building that Xbox presence in Japan, saying, "our market in Japan for Xbox is important to us." Sony and Nintendo are obviously well established over there, and Spencer notes this, adding, "I don’t know that we’re winning in Japan any time soon, but the position that we have in Japan today from a platform isn’t acceptable to me".

To ensure they start out in a stronger position in Japan as soon as the Xbox Series X launches, Spencer says they're "going to do a much better job with this next upcoming launch", they're not going to wait for ten months before they launch in Japan as they did with the Xbox One, and they're planning on a big push to publicise their Game Pass and xCloud services. Spencer also seems hopeful for more first party content being developed in Japan. "I think the Japanese market is specifically important because of the creative community there, because of the gamer community there, and I want us, I want Xbox, to mean more there than it does today".

"Could we have more homegrown first-party content that's developed (in Japan) and I'll just say I think we can. (...) And that means working across a bunch of different fronts to make that possible and that takes time."

By that last part I guess that he means both 1st party studio/s and 3rd party exclusives, they will need to secure a good portion of Japanese exclusives for Gamepass to succeed over there.

It doesn’t even need to be AAA level, games the size and scope of Astral Chain, Atlier Ryzer, Daemon X Machina, No More Heroes 3 and Deadly Premonition 2 would be enough, all those titles are between AA-AAA and would not be that expensive to fund.

Had I played A Plague Tale: Innocence in 2019, it would've been my GOTY.

A wonderful, immersive game with well-written story and characters. I liked the variety and build up of gameplay mechanics and skills. It starts as a distressing survival/stealth game and then builds up to much more than that.

There are other games that use the same light and dark mechanics for puzzles and combat, but A Plague Tale does it with such twist it's very clever. You really don't want to step out of light..

There are negatives though. Enemies are dumb as fuck.. a guard sees you take out 3 of his buddies, but after looking around for a minute he says "hear that? Nothing but silence. Time to stop searching". Then he starts staring at an alley.

They could've done a bit more with Amicia's and Hugo's complex relationship at the beginning. They hardly knew each other and Amicia was a bit jealous of Hugo.

Still I think this game is worthyof a full 10/10 score. Enjoyed every second of it. A good list of achievements too that don't require multiple playthroughs.

One more thing.. I kept expecting the big twist Angelus mentioned, but it never came heh. Left me scratching my head a bit.

Edit. Forgot to mention visuals, facical animations,  audio and voice-acting are excellent.

Started it yesterday and played through the first episode.

Just wow. Incredibly immersive world, characters I felt immediately attached to and astounding visuals (had to turn off chromatic aberration as the effect was way too strong. Looks even better without it).

And that's just from ~40min of gameplay.

I mean, it's not so much a big twist, as it is a weird ass fucking turn. But hey, if you were expecting the game to end up where it ended up....

Spoiler!
A rat version of Star Wars, where a chosen one and his friends duke it out against the wannabe Emperor of the rat world....culminating in an all out supernatural battle, where you're dodging rat tornado strikes....well, more power to you man. Can't say that's what I thought I was in for when I started playing this game.

Well, I didn't expect it to end specifically the way it did, but something like that. It was hinted early on Hugo's condition was linked to those rats so yes,  I expected him to be immune or a key to destroy them.  First time you saw the Inquisitor I thought he is looking for godlike power. So I thought he wants to control these rats using Hugo.

When going to confront Inquisitor I expected him to pull off some superpower trick, just not an army of his on rats. Though I did notice those white rats caged in earlier chapters but forgot about them.

Expecting a weird twist or turn I thought Hugo's mother was up to no good, and Inquisitor was actually trying to cure the plague. HisCaptain hinted something like this when saying they shared a common cause.

I take it from your tone you didn't like the ending?

I certainly expected Hugo's condition to be important, perhaps leading to immunity to the plague or something of that sort, but I definitely didn't expect the massively supernatural rat controlling angle. It was somewhat amusing, but overall it did diminish my rating of the game. I was really expecting a much more grounded story, and for about half the game or so, that's exactly what it was, so when everything just kinda went batshit crazy in the end....well, it mostly just left me thinking...why?

I don't feel it needed any of that.

The Division 2 is pretty cheap but might hit Game Pass soon.
Nevertheless, might be better to just buy it so you don't have to force yourself to play it within the next 12 months before it gets removed.
