I feel Xbox is in need of some new IPs. Anyone else feel that way?

Xbox about to be a new IP wonderland. We already have Everwild and Grounded. Avowed basically a new IP. New IPs are for sure incoming from double fine, compulsion, and Ninja theory. :)

Avowwed not a new IP if it's in the same vein as Pillars. You bout to get roasted again like you did in that VGC article pimp.

Meh there’s some technicalities in this one. The average gamer won’t know the similarities to the isometric RPG. Also the names are different. Loophole ;)

I mean people would say Forza Horizon is a new IP compared to Forza Motorsport based on their game design.

Just tried Grounded. Was a lot of fun. First critique: you can’t put custom waypoints on your map. That would be very helpful without having to open the map and orient myself.

Otherwise I survived my first night by finding enough materials in pitch black to build a tent. Got killed by accidentally hitting a ant when I meant to hit a gnat lol. When the green grass turns yellow it’s a sign you in another “region” first thing I saw was a spider. Saw it entangle a ladybug. Blindly charged it with a spear, I “danced around it” while hitting it, did this for 20 seconds without it hitting me. It oriented itself and insta killed me.

So overall I enjoyed this :)

so do the giant spiders just always know where you are in Grounded?

got to my first night and didn't have enough materials to build a bed yet so I was just chillin looking when a spider immediately walks my way towards the crafting bench I just placed, and I sort of froze by a nearby area not knowing what to do and it got stuck on some grass trying to continue towards me. eventually it left and I started slowly moving away but as soon as I even took a new step it was already heading towards me again and followed me for ages as I ran lmao, so it definitely had some sort of idea where I was no matter what.

game is fun but god damn this shit is like a horror game

Think the game encourages you to sleep by making nights extremely risky. During the day the spider I saw didn’t notice me till I was close to it. From a distance I established I could see it move around but it wasn’t aware of me.

Magatama!!!

Played Grounded with Ryuu and Ice, shit was pretty fun. Definite flaws with crafting and inventory and normal glitches, but overall it's pretty fun. Had some genuine scares with them spiders. Wonder how different the retail release will be. Interested to hear @Ryuu96 @iceland thoughts.

Yeah there was some weird glitches and bugs (pun intended). The overall sandbox is pretty fun but now that I’ve spent a good amount of time exploring it I’m more curious about the actual story. I had fun and I’m definitely going to play this upon full release.
