Tameem spoke about the project a few months back it seems like...

The first is called the Insight Project and it aims to break new ground in mental health. Earlier, back at Ninja Theory’s Cambridge studio, Antoniades revealed an embryonic work in progress: a virtual-reality version of a London flat. “The idea is to get as close to reality as possible, to create an environment that works the same way a real environment works and looks utterly, utterly real.” To do this, the team is in the process of painstakingly scanning real-world objects into this virtual apartment and then improving the tiniest details. The layout of the flat is based on Antoniades’ own apartment – he reasons that if it’s a space he knows intimately then he will better be able to judge whether the team has managed to perfect it. Into this cyber realm they are going to place a character that they intend to be the most realistic virtual human ever made, from skin to eyes to clothing. “It’s one area where I think we are world leaders,” he says.

Honestly with the level of detail going into this, I wouldn't expect a game in the typical sense, more along the lines of like I said, a PT-type horror experience, more of a showcase of what they can do, with ultra realistic graphics, set solely in a single building, psychological horror.

Uhm….aren't the Insight Project, and Project Mara different things?

Would not be shocked to see Project Mara release before Hellblade 2 since it seems like it’s a smaller project and was even called an experimental game.

How big is the team that is working on Bleeding Edge?

Isn’t Project Insight a series of games that will explore mental health? That Hellblade 2 and Project Mara represented the three dots on the trailers right?

Yeah I think Project Mara will release before Hellblade II as well.

Just had a check, Bleeding Edge has on average 15 employees reaching a peak of 25. Hellblade has 40ish employees so that leaves 55-65 (Ninja Theory is at 120 right?). I can't see the Project Mara team being big at all, maybe 10-15? That should actually leave enough for another team but I think I'd rather they move any remaining staff onto Hellblade II, unless of course the remaining staff want to make Kung Fu Chaos 2.

Yeah I believe they are 120 but I can see them getting a little bigger when they move to their new HQ. Hellblade took 3 years dev time and HB2 will probably take the same and I imagine that the Bleeding EDge team will stay together for post launch support, Would be cool to see the remaining staff like two teams of 25-30 doing a Hellblade size project in size and scope aka Indie AAA.

I also now remember that Ninja had Bleeding Edge and UpRez trademarked, so UpRez could potentially be a new title that they are working on.

Wonder if Project MARA can run in an Xbox One.

Hopefully the new hire helps MS give better marketing campaigns to their games. Only games this gen I remember having good advertisements and exposure were Halo MCC, Halo Wars 2, Titanfall, Forza Motorsport 6, and GearsUE/4/5.

Forgot about that, also something called Fightback was trademarked.

Fightback was a mobile game that they released back in 2013. UpRez and Bleeding Edge were both trademarked around the same time I believe.

MS better not bother with Timed AAA Exclusives next gen unless it’s Indie games that release on Xbox 1st.

Agree, I don't like when Sony does it, I don't like when Microsoft does it and I also think it's a waste of money.

I am all for MS spending money on advertising rights like they used to do with CoD during the Xbox 360 days. I also see no problem getting exclusives if they fund the development of the games. Similar to Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Alan Wake.

MS funding 3rd Party AAA exclusives is completely fine and I expect and welcome them, I’m taking about deals like FF7re, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Dead Rising 4, Street Fighter V etc.
