Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Who doesn't?

Still believe Asobo will be picked up. Their work on Flight SIM is amazing. And their other talent is worth noting as well (Plague Tale Innocence, which is on Game Pass now)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

They also have racing experience, so they could possibly give us MS Kart finally, lol.

you could create a MS kart just based on the rare IPs

The fact that CoD wasn't on the Sony show was suspicious for sure. Every CoD since CoD 2 way back in 2005 has been announced in April, May, or June except for MW2 which was announced in February. I can only think of a few possibilities for the late announce:

  1. MS has marketing, so it will be announced on the July show.
  2. Sony has marketing, but decided to delay the announce until their August State of Play for some reason.
  3. Since development on Black Ops Cold War was slowed up by the behind the scenes drama (was originally a non Black Ops Cold War era game developed by Sledgehammer with assistance from Raven Software, but halfway into development Sledgehammer got into a fight with Activision, and Treyarch was put in charge of turning the Sledgehammer/Raven game into a Black Ops title, with Treyarch doing the multiplayer, and the Sledgehammer/Raven campaign being repurposed into a Black Ops campaign), Activision did something unheard of for them as a publisher and delayed Black Ops Cold War to 2021.

I feel like its its likely the first 2. Three is such a bad excuse cause its not like they're expected to show a deep dive trailer. They could have had a 2 minutes of CGI and gameplay when they're ready. Cyberpunk was first announced in 2012 and is coming 2020 so they definitely could have put something together by now if they really wanted to.

think about the manufacturing process, wouldn't it be financially more attractive to use the same manufacturing line?
IOW same look but with maybe a different color of paint

or lookalike of the XOX if its replaces that line

Pretty much my exact thoughts on Lockhart / Series S.

listen i know you believe that, but scaling DOESNOT WORK at all, its the lowest common denominator and will bring down the quality of all games on the Series X

Good. All 1st/2nd party would have been disappointing after Sony had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their show. Hopefully we get to see some Series X gameplay for AC Valhalla, and a first look at the next-gen patch for Cyberpunk that they are working on for after the current-gen release in November. Some new 3rd party marketing deal games would be nice to see as well, first gameplay of Starfield from Bethesda or Mass Effect Remaster/Remake or Dragon Age 4 from EA maybe (sadly a Harry Potter RPG reveal seems to be ruled out, Jason Schreier implied it will be announced later than August now). Hope to see some more JP 3rd party games as well, other than Yakuza and Scarlet Nexus from the May show, some new games hopefully.

I feel like AC would be a pretty pointless showcase, considering that Ubi is doing their own thing on July 12th. They'll no doubt have an extended segment showing off Valhalla there. I also don't think we'll see the next gen upgrade of Cyberpunk, considering CDPR is clearly still hard at work finishing up the game as is, and don't expect to have that upgrade ready until some nondescript time next year.

Worrying that Jez says Fable might not be there, especially since the AAA from Obsidian also isn't mentioned. Would be bad if only 1 of the 3 big 1st party 2021-2022 AAA's is announced, unless they also have a good 2nd party AAA lined up.

Also worrying that he says Forza may just be a tease for a 2021 Motorsport 8, having 2 years in a row with no new Forza release would be bad. They badly need a new Forza out this year. Having to wait until 2021 for Motorsport 8 and 2022 for Horizon 5 would be total ass for me.

gamepass,  they are stretching out the releases of the game, forza cound end up in Q2.
