Asobo is the best that we can hope for right now, they have already shown AAA quality.

MS could easily buy out the Focus Home Interactive deal and snag whatever game they are working on.

Was the original game announced at Xbox stage back in the day? If this is gonna be announced at Xbox event tomorrow, then it means that this is the second game that already was at Xbox stage that Phil is talking about.

Big franchises? Not alot. Most of the missing JP series are fairly niche, Dragon Quest and Persona are two of the few larger JP IP not on Xbox, but I doubt Phil would walk out a late port of DQ11 or Persona 5 at an event like this, but it's not impossible I guess. On the other hand, Persona 100% not happening as Atlus always announces new Persona games by themselves and not at any of platfomr holders events.

MS should take a look at Deck13 as well they are under 100 staff and would be a good studio to build up.

Yeah, not much chance of that. Not only would those be unlikely to be announced at an Xbox event, but it feels too soon for either of them, historically the gaps between Persona games and the gaps between DQ games have been pretty large in recent years, as long as 5 years for DQ games and as long as 8 years between Persona games. I feel like there is a better chance of Atlus' new IP showing up tomorrow, Project ReFantasy, it has like 3+ years of development already. 

Project ReFantasy would be really nice, especially considering that Persona games producer is working on it. Another Japanese game that comes to mind and which I personally would like to see on Xbox is the new Guilty Gear.
