This feels like a bit of an overreaction after they've just had an entire week of positive news and happy Halo fans, I was checking the replies to most of their Tweets and there was a lot of optimism. I actually don't agree. All those exaggerated slide gimmicks are honestly just kinda annoying and don't look or feel like they belong in Halo. Maybe a controversial take, but I'm not mad to see those dialed back.

I think they're fine, only the best Halo players can take full advantage of the sliding and when they do it's awesome to watch, the vast majority of players will not be capable of sliding around the map in an effective way like these pros can, Lol.

Is this the complaint? What is snap sliding? Is it something that like only 1,000 people can even pull off?

IIRC The last time they announced a removal of a movement feature, the pros complained, and they reversed the decision straight after, I forgot what that was for though. Just complain and they'll change their mind. Bunch of good changes in the updates coming, I'm not really surprised that one unpopular decision gets in these updates from time to time.

Definitely. The original reveal trailer had PC listed which SE later retracted. Which isn’t something you usually typo on your high budget game lol

Also, from the same trailer that has FFXVI as a 6 month exclusive, Forspoken was confirmed as a 2 year exclusive. January 23, 2025 specifically.

Which is definitely for Xbox since Forspoken will be on PC at launch.

We may very well be playing Avowed or Fable on Xbox by the time Forspoken launches on the platform. Or both!
