Remasters are a waste of time and hardly something to look forward to.

If only there was a remaster or something else other than FO76 to celebrate this iconic IP

Sony is about to remake an almost 6 year old game according to the newest leaks, meanwhile Xbox hasn't given us a single high-end remake since Gears 1 UE in 2015, 7 years ago. Phil's 2nd greatest failing behind his slow Japan improvements imo, his seeming refusal to remake games the last several years when they have so many games now in need of remakes. Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Fable 2, Gears 2 and 3, Forza Horizon 1, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas. Would love to see a remake of Lost Odyssey and a Jade Empire remake in partnership with EA as well.

Agreed. The misery started when they didn't remake Halo 3 for its 10th birthday which everyone expected them to have in development.

Fable post the 3rd iteration was a disaster and could've used at least a remake of the 2nd game so a new generation of gamers could get into the series.

As for Gears or FH I don't quite see the point. Those franchises saw a lot of love in the past couple of years and the games aged extremely well (especially due to One X/Series X improvements).

As for Morrowind or Fallout 3 remakes. I would kill for those. I never really got into Morrowind, only played the first couple of hours over and over again stealing everything I could. On the other hand, Fallout 3 was my favourite game of the 7th generation.

I disagree. I for one love replaying my favorite games and remasters/remakes give me a good reason to replay them, as they not only come with new achievements, but also much needed graphics improvements, and often quality of life or gameplay improvements as well. Xbox has quite a few popular games in their stable now that are quite dated in either graphics, mechanics, or both. Games from the 7th generation are now 2 generations outdated, while games from the 6th generation are now 3 generations outdated. Every game that I listed above is now at lest 2 generations outdated, Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Fable 2, Gears 2 and 3, Lost Odyssey, Jade Empire, Forza Horizon 1, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas.

Not to mention there is alot of money in those remakes for Xbox, just look at Sony right now, successfully selling a remake of a 9 year old game for $70 to quite alot of people.

Sean W definitely getting his notoriety now lol. Now he's getting Windows Central stories written about his "reporting"

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Has anyone gotten a Series X recently to see if this is true?

Master Chief is no longer on Series X box - Reddit

So many issues with Halo infinite and then spending time to make an Halo remake will not end well especially after Halo/Halo 2 anniversary got a lot of haters because they had so many issues, ranging from it is just a bad PC port to 'so they only remade a few of the maps'.  Gears remaster came out and was death after a month. It would be better to remake games that never were on Xbox.

They really are hyping this up aren't they??? Wouldn't it be nice if all 4 games got ported to console on top of an Age of Mythology: Definitive Edition announcement

That is precisely why Xbox needs some studios dedicated to remasters and remakes, so that no resources are taken away from teams developing actual new games. There past remakes often left much to be desired, you need to give them a proper budget and update more than just graphics sometimes. If Xbox were to get their own version of Sony's Bluepoint, and give them proper budgets, I do think Xbox would have quite alot of success with remakes.

Anyone test the noise suppression in xbox parties? it works scarily well
