That is.....substantially larger than I was anticipating! Why on earth would the Series X version be twice the size of the Series S version???

hard disagree, 343 was that new blood and they need more guidance

That's what I was thinking. 343 went out of their way to make sure they hired anyone else EXCEPT former Bungie employees for so long, and that new blood really took the franchise to new lows.

Actually I felt the old blood wanted to do something new and different instead of the same thing for a decade which is why those people left MS.  Its not like the new blood took the series to new lows because the head of the department were all old blood, its just that the concept and advancement in the game grew stale.  You really cannot half ass when it come to pushing new concept because then the whole project feels half ass and that is the problem.  Its time to retire master chief and go a totally new direction but that just my opinion.

Japan is probably up there with the UK now for Xbox in terms of sales the last few months. Xbox usually does like 8k-12k on non holiday weeks in the UK so selling 12k puts in that areas.

Ignoring the fact that if you wanted to skip the grind that estimates are coming up to $500,000 or more to fully level up a single character, it really irks me that Mike Ybarra doesn't realize the endgame is the most important aspect of the Diablo franchise. And to both make the grind absurd and even 100% paywall certain levels of the endgame, makes your blood boil.

At the end of the day, the answer to all your Diablo Immortal questions, is "fuck you, we wanted to make a mobile game, that makes mobile game money, by exploiting people who are used to paying through the nose in all their games...any core Diablo fans that decide to go along for, and stick with that ride, are just a neat bonus."

That was the idea from the start. There's a reason they had absolutely not intention of putting it on PC.

Daggerfall only on pc....WHY? Would it not make more sense to have a preview on the consoles?

Easier to port it to Windows Store.

Not to say it won't ever come to Xbox but it's already on Steam/GoG so Windows Store is likely a lot easier than an Xbox port.

Although it probably wouldn't be worth the effort to get it to Xbox.

the daggerfall gog version is great, has baked in essential mods. would not recommend the windows store version if its the steam copy
