I have been playing this game for a while and did not experience this issue.  I wonder what you did to trigger this.  Did you destroy all the bunkers on the map, there are 2 main bunkers and I believe getting the intel in the city are the requirements to for going to the barn which will end the first mission.  The mission will not pop up I believe unless you view the location.

I did destroy the bunkers but it's an optional objective so it doesn't count towards mission progress.

I picked up the intel in the resistance house but I did not get the next objective to go to the exfil point.

Hmm, I could have sworn that there is a main bunker you have to destroy because when I went to the barn before destroying that bunker it pop up a message that I came to early and thus did not cut the end of the mission for that area.  There is this main bunker where the main big gun that destroyed the sub that you need to take down.

nope that one is an optional objective as well and besides, I already did that.

Damn, then that's bad, I would hate to have to do that one all over again.

Now that I think about it, that Goldeneye documentary releases VERY close to the heavily rumored Nintendo Direct. I wonder if the announcement will be at the Direct. That does only seem appropriate lol
