Played my first match of Halo in about a decade in a half. Got three kills. Which is three more than I expected.

A win is a win

Well, the other guy got 25 kills, so I think it was actually a loss.

Got an Xbox Series X, because I have poor impulse control. Visuals aren't blowing me away so far. Halo Infinite is fun. Also got Guardians of the Galaxy from Gamepass... is there a reason Starlord is so whiny?

Yeah, the visual are alright. Definitely a cross-gen game for sure, but there's also a lot of issues with the engine. The gameplay loop is top notch for Infinite though. I just wish the content was there. Not really a reason lol it's just what the writers chose, but still a really fun game. 

I got 6 kills this time... so I'm twice as good. At this rate, I'll be the best player in the world in a month.

Any games on gamepass that will show off the graphics better?

Off the top of my head, Gears 5, Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Doom Eternal are the first I can think of. Psychonauts 2 is also really a great looking game.

Forza Horizon 5, Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, Psychonauts 2, Jedi Fallen Order, Ori 1and 2, A Plagues Tale, Hitman Trilogy, MK11, The Ascent, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Gears Tactics, Doom Eternal, and Sniper Elite 5 released today on Game Pass. 

Already played Psychonauts 2 on XBone, and it was good, but not so good that I'd play through it again. Been meaning to try Doom Eternal, so maybe I'll try that.

I keep getting 6-th to 8th place, so probably not. Thanks for the recomendation. Maybe Ori is worth a shot. I try not to play Metroidvanias though unless I'm going to only play that one game for a while.

Edit: Finally won a game. Snipers and shotguns. Went on a killing frenzy and managed to keep a step ahead the rest of the game.

The Coalition is definitely the graphics powerhouse studio. Gears 5 looks so good, definitely looking forward to next game they make.

@poll, if coalition feels they can continue to make solid Gears games than I'm all for it lol I'm sure they can explore different characters and timelines. Though I'll admit the story in Gears is secondary to me, I love the top tier TPS gameplay and co-op exp.

The Maverick challenges in MS Flight Sim are superfun!
