Yeah I think at the end of the show they will announce a June show for their E3 news on another note I guess we will see a few new games drop into Gamepass tomorrow.

Do you auto get all of the achievements? |
No the Achievements don’t carry over, the part that makes me upset that Shadow of War Definitive Edition isn’t like this.
Also dumb that they don’t allow you to buy the base Shadow of Mordor digital on the Xbox Store but they still allow it for the DLC and Season Pass, Rise and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are like this as well (but at least their complete editions don’t count as different titles).

At current exchange rates USD500 is AUD 820. With GST that becomes AUD902. Plus greater shipping costs and less economies of scale. AUD could improve but not a whole heap. I can see them making it $899 to say its under $900. They will want to avoid going higher if they can. I know its a long time ago, but the PS3 launched at $999 and that was a PR nightmare and a launch disaster. |
Usually improvements of the AUD has occurred because the USD has tanked harder than the AUD.. Like during the Global Financial Crisis where the USA entered recession and AUS did not.
We are also tied with the chinese economy as they buy all our resources, so when they do well, we do well.
Personally I will be dumping my Xbox One X into the games room and getting the Series X on release day to put in the lounge room.
Everything is unpredictable right now, our COVID rates are low which is going to give us a long term economic advantages I think.

Agreed. Not to mention our stimulus packages are massive... How very labor of the liberal government.
We're going to be in debt forever but... At least we'll rebound from covid rather quickly. Well, I hope so anyway.

Yes, though Microsoft gets paid and reports to investors in USD. So the specific reasons why the USD is much stronger than the AUD right now are not overly consequential.
Our ties to China are certainly strong. But China's performance is also strongly linked to the USA. One of our key links is services, particularly education. It will be at least 12 months before that recommences en mass.
Ultimately I hope you're right, and our rates see those parts of our economy not reliant on overseas rebound relatively quickly.

The Kingdom Hearts Collections are 60% and 67% off.
Square Enix truly ripped off their customers after releasing both less than two months ago on the system.

Square Enix have consistently been the shitest company the entire generation for their late port over pricing.
- Nier Automata costing more day one that my PS4 copy
- World of Final Fantasy (same as above)
- Kingdom Hearts (same as above, hmm)
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 (same as above, Seems like a trend is developing) They also made the deals substantially worse for this and FF XII on other platforms across the following year to make the late ports on other platforms seem like better deals
- Final Fantasy XII (Same as above)
- Octopath Traveller - (same as above when it got ported to PC from Switch)
- Anything that I forgot ( Likely same as above)
